Let's plan a GC road trip and all go see it together!!!

We'll pick a central US starting point, and then do a caravan drive down to Georgia Wesleyan and visit the Cannonball House together!

Now, who's with me??
Alpha Delta Pis and Phi Mus together? I think that would be AWESOME!!!!

Count me in!!

Isn't there another thread about ADPi & Phi Mu, where we decided to become the "Macon Magnolias"?

I think it was last June, and using lilac or lavender as our "color" was deemed appropriate, as a mix of azure blue & pink.

All right, so this road trip would probably need to take place sometime in the summer, I'm guessing, and maybe it wouldn't have to be all of us meeting in one place and then driving to Macon and visiting the Cannonball House, but maybe we can make the GC ADPi/Phi Mu meetup AT the Cannonball House on a certain date....could you imagine the huge crowd we could get there???

And BTW, I love the idea of the Macon Magnolias (even if I'm coming into the idea about 6 months later )....I'm going to have to remember that!

The Cannonball House is absolutely beautiful. I am an ADPi at Mercer University, which is located not too far from the Cannonball House. ADPi's and Phi Mu's from Mercer often volunteer at the Cannonball House during Macon's Cherry Blossom Festival. It is a great opportunity to share our related histories and our own personal sorority experiences with tourists and visitors during the Festival.
I love being in Macon where both of these organizations were founded...lots of history around town!!!

I'm right there with you, honey! I wish (like many others do) that my university had a chapter of Phi Mu...it would've been great to have both Macon Magnolias there!

I love history like this. I think it so wonderful the way Phi Mu and ADII are linked. Very interesting. Good job to all who researched it.

Bump!!

Question: Do all schools with the Monmouth Duo have a Monmouth dance/formal? I know Baylor's Pi Phis and Kappas have their Monmouth formal every other year I believe. It was really cute, one year they had sweatshirts with the same front but some had keys on the back and some had arrows.

ANYWAY, my question is, do any schools with ADPi and Phi Mu do a similar event? I think that'd be pretty groovy. We do not have Phi Mu at Baylor, but I always thought it'd be cool if we did.

What about the Miami Triad (I think it's called??) what is their story? It's Sigma Chi, Phi Delt and Beta right?

At Mercer, we have both an ADPi and a Phi Mu chapter. In March or April, the chapters co-sponsor Peaches & Pie, an annual alumnae tea that is held at Wesleyan College where we were both founded. Last year, we had Helen Glenn, charter member of the Beta Sigma chapter, as our guest speaker (ADPi's can read about her in the latest edition of The Adelphean!). It is a nice chance for alumnae and collegians from both sisterhoods to come together for an afternoon.
