A lot of people said just what you did until the ONE THING that touched off their fuse was posted, such as their GLO ritual or a jab at their ethnic group or their own name and address (!!!) or a misogynist comment...then they began to see what the rest of us were mad about. This is why GC has a user agreement that forbids posting of inflammatory comments.

Besides, when mods get bombed by 20 pms about the same horrible post, it's impossible to ignore them!

I would think that the reason for being unable to ignore a mod is because, if you're causing trouble, then a mod needs to be able to contact you in order to resolve the issue. Just a guess. And I would think that if you can't ignore a mod, then no one else would be able to, either... So, I really don't know why you can't and 33girl can. I'll be glad to inquire about it, though. Could be a glitch in the GC system.

I would think if there was a giant issue (like someone pming me to say "the kidney you need is in my chapter room") John could read the PMs and override the ignores. Oh and xok85xo, don't worry, I "unignored" you as soon as my experiment was completed.

Maybe it's because I haven't been a member that long? I can't see any other reason for it, no reprimands or anything of the sort. I can't understand it, especially since I don't go into the forums that this person moderates.

Look at it this way, people are criticizing your research because you basically criticized the reasearch of others and told them they needed to apologize, deal with it. Alos, you state "but who knows if they have all the right information," well, how the heck do you know you have all the right information on "craig" if that is indeed who he is or isn't or if he is a Bob or a George or a Henry. You could be getting played as easy as anyone else. AGAIN, I will state that you proof is more or less non-material, in essence, you have nothing, as do the others that posted the "imposter to gc" thread.

I'm not belittling anyone herem but I think people are getting way off track and I agree with James that people are jumping to conclusions when they read one of these threads, or that they are forming opinions because they don't know the whole truth, but the main question is; who does know all or any of the truth about this "uf pike?" I don't, do you? Does anyone think they know or not?

James, I'm sorry but I can't answer your question, I was just going on the basis that he was always quick to jump to his defense in many other situations no matter what he said or what was being said about him, and I just don't understand how he didn't do the same in this situation. That is the deciding factor on why I believed what I read in the "Imposter to GC" thread. He would get so enraged because he felt he was right on other subjets and he would bash people or whatever he felt would make him look good or make him feel better..he hasn't even done that.

Maybe he is telling the truth, maybe he is lying, the way I look at is that he offended quite a few people on GC in the past and now it is coming full circle.

Well, it's not really. I don't know the kid. If I did, I'd probably dislike him. What I really dislike (sounding like a broken record) are his egocentric, mean spirited, demeaning and sexist comments. I don't care if he's a Pike. I would care if he was a Delt. Then I'd be trying to find out who he really is and then trying to figure out how to put a stop to him humiliating the Fraternity. If he is a Pike, I believe his actions disgrace his brothers and his organization.

Now, I'm going to go have my head examined for coming back to this thread -- and then adding to it!

Precisely what I've been thinking all along.

Regardless of what many of us think, when we reveal what organization we belong to we in effect are representing that organization when we post on here.
