HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! ... WOW! this has definitely been one of my longer MIA periods

... first off - Lynn, THANK YOU for your beautiful gift(s) ... I was SOOOO happy & excited when I unwrapped them right there at the post office!!

... I received them on or about the 20th, though they were probably there before!!

Well, since it is a new year & I want to start it out right, I'll admit it ~~ I didn't send out my gift to Marissa until the 23rd (I was being sooo picky), but luckily it did arrive promptly on the 24th thanks to FED EX (and my friend's corporate rate!) ... all's well that end's well!!

Lynn, sorry about not replying sooner ... its been nuts with my Xmas job (gov't liquor store) & always being on call day/night

Thanks again for such a wonderful gift!!

Merry Belated Xmas one & all ... I Hope that the BEST of 2002, is the worst of 2003 ... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

You're welcome! I wanted something that specifically said AGD but I didn't make it to the Greek store until after I had mailed your present, lol. I found a somewhat cute red squirrel with a green tummy.

i bought it to add to my collection but I'm not crazy about it, lol. Sad that "Greek" items have gotten so expensive. After all, college students are buying the majority of them.

Glad you're safe! ((Spent the WoF money yet? lol))

Hubby and I were talking this morning while watching a recap of New Year activities around the world. Told him that I wanted to spend it one year where it is warm enough to go outside and watch the fireworks. He said Australia or Hong Kong, I said Hawaii

I think if we decide to do this again next year, we have to be more organized, be more committed, and send gifts by an agreed upon date.

I think that this year was great. We shouldn't have to have a specific date because this was secret squirrels not something holiday specific. We have to remember that this time of year is very crazy for us all and that we could do this at different times during the year. Maybe next year we need to set some idea of price range.

Lynn, you did a wonderful job organizing all of us crazy squirrels. Thanks for taking charge.

Its so tough dealing with the mail, and it gets even tougher around the holidays. I'm sure that the late presents are slowly trickling in and I bet they are still just appreciated now as they were 2 weeks ago! This was our first attempt at it, so there were bound to be a few minor snags. Bunches of red and buff roses to Lynn for taking charge!

Arin, have you gotten my gift yet? I sent it out a while ago!

Just to clarify my earlier comment:

* I think Lynn did an awesome job!

* I know this was not holiday specific, but since we know the mail is going to be slow, it would be better to all send them around the same time. Maybe if we do this again next year, we can do it for Thanksgiving or New Years instead.
* Also, a lot of people have been on vacation or have left GC and it's not entirely fair to their SS to be left hanging.

Because of school being closed I wasn't able to retrieve my SS gift, but it is back open and I love it!

My SS choose to not relieve herself in her mailing (but I know who she is because of the list being posted). She sent me some note cards with the Alpha Gamma Delta 100 years logo and the Christmas Ornament.

I really do thank my Secret Squirrel!!
