So true. I go to Century when I dont have a lot of money. And I have a little bit of a DEB obsession but I will never admit that in person.
South Hills is awesome. I love bebe, Rampage and Banana Republic.

My town isn't big enough to have a nice mall and a dirt mall, so we just have a nice mall. Anchor stores are Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Filene's, JC Penney, and Sears. Other stores include Sephora, Williams-Sonoma, Bombay Company, various flavors of Gap, Sharper Image, the dreaded Payless, Men's Wearhouse, etc.
Near my office is a very nice mall. I haven't had much of a chance to just wander through it, but they have Tiffany, Coach, Metropolitan Museum of Art store, Needless Markup (erm, Neiman Marcus), Sephora, Elizabeth Arden spa, Bombay Company, Louis Vuitton, Brooks Brothers, Apple, Bose, etc. Bring your platinum card

In Rhode Island/So. MA:
Best Malls:
Providence Place :
Only about 5 years old...Very nice. Attached via skywalk to the Westin. Has lots of stores, great food...BUT, because of the proximity to high schools via the RIPTA, lots of gang stuff has occurred...Can't base what's good and bad on anything nowadays it seems...
Emerald Square Mall
Was THE mall to go to when I was in college (pre Prov Place). USED to have my fave snack food of all time, TJ Cinnamon's (BETTER than Cinnabon)...But Sadly, no more
OK Malls:
Warwick Mall
The mall you went to when you didn't have a car! LOL
Need a Facelift Mall:
Rhode Island Mall
Just a piss poor mall...Can't even find the website...Pitiful

MoCo, MD/DC/NoVA malls:
There are SOOOO many, so I'm just going to list the names...
Best Malls:
Montgomery Mall (MD)
Pentagon City (NoVA)
Tysons Corner I and II (two separate malls w/in 1/4 mile of each other) (NoVA)
Dulles Town Center (NoVA)
OK Malls:
White Flint Mall (MD)
Union Station (NOT really a mall, but DC is seriously lacking. A new mall will be opening in downtown DC soon!)
Lakeforest Mall (MD)
"Need a Facelift" Malls:
ALL the malls in Frederick, MD (just had to mention it)
Wheaton Plaza (ICK!!)
I'm sure I forgot a few...There are LOTS of plazas here (strip malls with the same great stores that are in a typical mall)...

I just want to ask a question/make an observation: have you noticed that the majority of the "bad" malls are in minority neighborhoods?
I really hate that...

i definitely agree. i love that mall. one of my favorite stores is Strawbridge's
as far Orlando, Mall at Millenia is so awesome. it is just an amazing mall.
here in jacksonville, the best mall is The Avenues (Sears, Dillards, Parisian, JC Penney, Belks, Abercrombie, A&E, Wet Seal, ........)
i think Regency Square Mall is okay. it is not that great, and i am not crazy about the stores
another good mall is Orange Park Mall. it has gotten a lot better in the last couple of years.
Gateway Shopping Center i have no words for that mall.
Jacksonville Landing. it would be so nice if they would add a few new stores. it has so much potential. people just mainly go therem for the nightlife, cause of the restaurants and little nightclubs in the area.
we are getting a new mall next year and i am so excited. it is supposed to have all of the high end stores like Neimans, Bloomindales.....i cannot wait!!!

Nothern NJ:
Best Mall: The Mall at Short Hills
Worst mall: Livingston Mall
Livingston's only the worst cause it used to be so so good! And Short Hills, well, they have everything upscale and expensive - Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace. And they also have awesome regular stores: A&F, J.Crew, Aldo, Arden B., Guess, Bebe, and Max Studio.Com. Menlo, Woodbridge, and Willowbrook don't cut it .
And for the college years:
Best fake Mall: Walnut Street
Best real mall: Ross Park
Worst Mall: Century III
Walnut Street edges out Ross Park because you could walk there with a cup of tea and enjoy a little bit of window shopping when the afternoon allowed it.

Not to mention there are more people walking their fuzzy puppies there per square foot than any other place on the planet.

Making me homesick
You are so sick and wrong for making me homesick! I used to work in that mall! LOVED IT! Also my other favorite malls in that area were: Tyson's Corner, The Galleria at Tyson's II, and Fair Oaks
Nothing has compared as of yet! sigh...

In the area I am in now (within a 2 hour radius)
The nicest mall in the Vancouver area is Metrotown in Burnaby, BC
But to do some good shopping: Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, WA
Killer shopping: Bellevue, WA
But none still match my Pentagon City or Tysons
