Hi there,
I remember at LTS last year that one of the questions asked during our section on inclusiveness was how many of us know people or have family members who are gay (lots of women stood up). Then the speaker proceeded to talk about how inclusive Phi Sig is and we don't discriminate on anything including sexual orientation. On a side note I remember hearing something that one of the chapters at one time had a woman who had the surgery to change from being a man. Definitely inclusive there,

Alrighty, this is gonna sound weird... But it's a question, that's why I'm posting it in the Trivia thread.

What color exactly is King Blue? I mean, is it Navy, or is it lighter? On our crest it's a lighter blue than navy... But in everything we use (well at least on our campus) it's Navy.

AngelPhiSig can you help me out??? Since you're the walking talking Reflections manual and all...

Well, I dont think anyone really knows what King Blue is.

We use a Royal Blue on our campus...

alright here is a good question: who was the first national archon? by the way, my chapter does not have a mascot. seeing all the other people write about teddybears and such made me feel like we should have one. If any Phi Sigma Sigma Gamma Nu chapter sisters see this, we need a mascot. If anything, Kerry could always steal one of the fraternities animal mascots!!! HA HA HA!

BTW we usually use Royal blue too.

Well I am going to take a shot at this one. Phi Sig was the first sorority to let in anyone without restrictions of religion or background. The 10 founders were all of different religions and beliefs and they all couldn't join the same sorority but they wanted to be together. So they made their own, Phi Sigma Sigma

PhiSigChic had it!!! we were the 1st to open our doors to women regardless of religion. The 1st non-sectarian Glo. I don't know about the going international part. I guess i need to do some brushing up. Keep'em comming guys.

Alrighty, hopefully someone can answer me this:

Is the Cardiology Laboratory at Yeshiva University Medical School in New York City, still called the Phi Sigma Sigma Cardiology Laboratory???

This was really buggin me... I even looked online to see... But I didn't see anything named after us!

(for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about... look it up on page 66 in the new reflections/visions manual)

Anyways, if anyone can tell me, I'd REALLY appreciate it... I'm sure it'll keep me up all night thinking about it! hehe
