Tattoos I can understand moreso as being part of "who you are" because they often have special meaning, and often ARE unique.

Not to mention a tad more permanent.

Well, I know I wouldn't feel like myself if I cut my hair short. It doesn't mean there aren't a zillion other girls out there with long hair - just that I feel at my best with it and I honestly do think it's part of my personality. I don't see why piercings are any different.

People don't get tattoos according to where Miss Etiquette thinks they should have them and OP doesn't have a "whole body tattoo". Where did that come from?

LOL
I would imagine people around the world are fighting for broke fashion and jewelry.
These spammers need some quality control.

If you prefer a tattoo, a small one on your ankle or thigh is appropriate. It should be one that can easily be covered up. The eyebrow is a place I would personally rather not see a girl have pierced. I don't believe that I have to cover large tattoos as it is agreed upon those are not appropriate. The guaging piercings for your ear and lip are something I also see as tasteless.

I don't have a double piercing in my ear, an eyebrow ring, and my lip is not stretched ? It's also a bit late to move the place of my tattoo; however it is in a spot more discreet than my ankle.
But I pretty much agree with everything CuriousCasey said.

What?! Double pierced ears are not overly crazy. Who gets tattoos on their thighs? Are tattoos on your ankle easily covered? This is the dumbest post I've read in awhile. I think the ankle is one of the worst places to get a tattoo because it is one of the hardest places to cover up a tattoo, especially if you like to wear skirts and cute shoes! BTW, who elected you the guide to what is and is not appropriate anyway?
