Not seeing Alpha Gamma Delta's:
Tagline: Inspire the Woman. Impact the World.
Open Motto: None - Purpose is most prevalent and used, so I'll put it below.
Flowers: Red & Buff Roses and Asparagus Fern
Colors: Red, Buff, Green
Mascot: Squirrel
Jewel: Pearl
Purpose:
To gain understanding that wisdom may be vouchsafed to me.
To develop and prize health and vigor of body.
To cultivate acquaintance with many whom I meet.
To cherish friendship with but a chosen few and to study the perfecting of those friendships.
To welcome the opportunity of contributing to the worlds work in the community where I am placed because of the joy of service thereby bestowed and the talent of leadership multiplied.
To honor my home, my country, my religious faith.
To hold truth inviolable, sincerity essential, kindness invaluable.
To covet beauty in environment, manner, word and thought.
To possess high ideals and attain somewhat unto them.
This shall be my purpose, so that those who know me may esteem Alpha Gamma Delta for her attainments, revere her for her purposes and love her for her Womanhood.

You are totally right, Leslie Ann I didn't check the website. Knew it had great in it. I have a distaste for the taglines myself. But what do I know. I didn't even know the tagline for my own sorority, that's how much I've paid attention to it.

Kappa Delta's tagline is "making great things happen." Live Great is part of our values campaign:
Growth through lifetime learning
Responsibility for our own integrity and ethical actions
Engagement in social and civic interests
Altruistic service to others
Truth and loyalty to each other
The Norman Shield (new member manual) was updated for this fall and GREAT has been integrated into the program, with each letter corresponding to a week.

A lot of our stuff is secret, however...
Open Motto: "Friends and Leaders for Life" (which I love)
Flower: Wine Carnation (every part of the flower means something)
Jewel: 12 Pearls
Color: Wine and Silver Blue
Official Mascot: I.C. Sorosis Badge aka the golden ➹ arrow
Unofficial Symbols: the Angel
Oh and I also love our crest/coat of arms

Although BetteDavisEyes has posted in the SK forum, Sigma Kappa just unveiled our new tagline and visual identity at COTS this past weekend, "Voices Strong. Hearts United." I like that it pays tribute to our founding by the first 5 women to attend Colby (or any school in New England) on an equal basis with men. Not all sororities were founded in the same climate or for the same reasons. Plus, it also references our open motto as well.
The new logo is 8 hearts in a circle to look like a flower (doesn't really look like a violet, IMO---I would have used 5 hearts instead of 8 since a violet has 5 petals and we have 5 founders).
I like that whoever designed the visual identity and tagline made it unique to Sigma Kappa.
Our new look is on our updated website.

violetpretty, I had to look at it twice, but it is cute. The one part that frustrated me was that it's mostly Sisters Only - which greatly limits Recruitment (IMHO).
My kinda-cousin went SK this past term, so I thought I'd take a look. Her Facebook picture isn't anywhere near as beautiful as she is. If you'd like if, PM me.

Violetpretty...the branding is really nice. I like that they included hearts in the design and tagline since your motto is "One Heart, One Way"!

Figured I'd bump this thread to go along with the other sorority taglines thread. :P

They did a survey about 2 or 3 years ago, and basically asked members what came to mind when they thought of Delta Phi Epsilon, and the most remembered/impactful thing was our motto. No sense in messing with something that isn't broken.

I'm sure your sisters (and admirers ) in North Carolina particularly like it.
