I didn't like Trolls, but my best friend did. She had a BUNCH of them. I was mostly into Barbie and Cabbage Patch.

Does anyone notice how much Barbie costs NOW, as opposed to when I was playing with them? I remember one Barbie used to be like $20ish, and the other day I saw a single Barbie for like $5 at Target. Back in the day, Barbie's outfit cost you more than that.

Other stuff:

*K'NEX and other building toys. My dad always bought these and ended up having to put the stuff together because we would get confused and start whining.

*BOARD GAMES and how fun they used to be: Sorry, Trouble, Mouse Trap, etc.

^^^ Co-sign on the board games. I played them all. I remember Life being so much fun, but I bought it about a year and a half ago and have only played it once. I don't know why I enjoyed it.

I still love board games! The hardest part is to find someone who will play them with me.

Lite Brite is a classic though. Even my kids (13 and 15) had a Lite Brite and loved it.

You just made my day because a) Lite Brite was HUGE in my house and b) because I have the Fraggle Rock theme song in my head.

Now if the song gets stuck there, we may have issues... haha

*Kids Incorporated on the Disney Channel staring a very young Jennifer Love Hewitt & Fergie!

*Win Lose or Draw on Disney. My brother and I would play this all the time.

*Baby Alive that was filled with water, so it ate and peed and pooped!

*Those super complicated Lego sets. My mom would buy those for us and we would NEVER do them.

*Playing Candyland, Hi Ho Cherry O, Chutes & Ladders, etc.

*The Barbie house with the jacuzzi that made real bubbles.

*Canopy style beds and daybeds. Every girl had one or wanted one.

*Coloring, with your giant box of 100 crayons. Bonus if your box had the sharpener in the back.

*Having parties at school for EVERY holiday. We would have a Xmas party, Halloween party, etc. Every parent would bring something ULTRA sugary and we'd pretty much have an all day party. Parents even brought cake and stuff for kid's birthdays. This is WAY before the whole "OMG my kids have to eat EVERYTHING organic and can't have ANY candy" revolution.

*Valentine's Day at school and buying those Valentine cards in a box to give to everybody. At the end of the day, you had a bag full of them. Some of them had candy attached to them and those were the ones you liked the most.

Does anyone like twister? I loved that game as a kid, and I love it more as an adult. I only like playing with hot women though.

My girlfriends who lived next door were the only grandchildren in their family. For some reason, they used their parents' board games! Miss Scarlett looked a lot more sketchy back in the 1940's-50's!
