Been dialing back & forth for Bo & Vonz - can't get through either. Guess that's a good thing

Nobody was really SPECTACULAR tonight...

I didn't much like the first half because I don't care for country music. Actually, I didn't much like the whole show tonight. I thought Bo's second song was good, but that's about all.

My thought is that it garnered sympathy votes anyway.

Ok, well it seems that everybody hates Carrie now, but I'm still standing by her. She and Bo are still my favorites.

Vonzell did really well on her second song.

Anthony needs to go home.

I don't hate Carrie. I think she has a good voice, and Mr. AXO says that he would like her album (me thinks he'd like something else of her, but that's beside the point )

I just think she is run-of-the-mill. I wouldn't be upset if she won (unlike the UNdeserving Manomasia -- wow, this is such a better season, huh?!) - but I would like to see Bo or Vonz win.

I think that when (and Lord please let it be tonight) Anthony goes home - that the top 3 are AWESOME and all deserving of the title. This would be one season where I felt like AI ended the right way.

I never did get through for B or V -- anyone else dial up for any contestants? Did you get through?

Maybe sometime today i'll hunt down what's up with Vonzell. Her dad was there, so it couldn't have been that big of a family tragedy or anything. But she totally forgot the words in her first song at one point... hell, even I know all the words to that song. Her second song was okay. She's a good entertainer, but I don't know if she's THAT good. Her voice is fairly limited.

ANTHONY NEEDS TO GO HOME

Bo is ehh. I hate guys with long hair so maybe that prejudices me.

Carrie's first song is very difficult to sing and I thought she did okay. I like her, but she's so damn wishy-washy it annoys the hell out of me, a female Charlie Brown. Like when Ryan was asking if she wanted to win.

As much as I hate Manfasia, she does have a better voice and can do more with it than any of these 4. And there hasn't been anyone that could sing like Kelly Clarkson- no one has that powerful of a voice

Holy run on Old Navy tunics this week!

Also, Bo, please buy yourself a box of Crest Whitestrips.

Thanks!

I loooooooved Bo & I continue to support him. I like Vonzell but last night, she was off her game. I covered my ears during her first song but the second one was o.k. Nothing exciting for me. I can't stand Anthony but the teeny-boppers love him so he might stay. Crap. Carrie is o.k. I don't see what the big deal is all about b/c her voice is yet to impress me.

IMO, the only idol so far that has proven themself is Clay Aiken. Kelly is good b/c I saw her at a concert but Clay blew me away. I liked Ruben but don't hear from him anymore. Weird. As for Fantasia, I don't think she sings. She screeches & wails her way through songs yet people sing her praises. I cover my ears or better yet, change the channel when she's on.

WORD.

I hate to say it, but by performance, Carrie should go. Don't get me wrong-I like her, but she phoned it in last night. And she just doesn't have the 'tude to pull off Sin Wagon... Plus, I wonder if the Dixie Chicks haters among her fans were put off by that song choice (I am not a DC hater myself...but the haters are still out there!).

Bo-He's the man, but why-oh-why-oh-why, of all the great Travis Tritt songs out there, did he pick that one? He would have been awesome on "Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)," or even "Anymore" would have been perfect. Oh well. He still got as many votes as I could get in for him...but what was up w/the flip-flops?

Vonzell-I still love her. She got some votes from me...her second song was good, but she didn't have her usual sparkle. I forgive her for the first one. At least she tried something challenging. I'm afraid she will be going home tonight.

Anthony-When the music started for "I'm Already There" I thought "Anthony has come to play." Sap factor Overload. Oh well. I also liked his version of the second song better than Carrie's.

I only watched the first half. I didn't really like anyone. I'm curious about Vonzell but I am HOPING that she doesn't get "Tamyra'ed" or "Latoya'ed."

I LOVED Amy Adams' version of Sin Wagon from last season... Carrie's just seemed... I dunno... FAKE? I like Carrie's voice and all... but the stage presense kills the perfomance.

We can hope that Anthony will be put out of his misery.

Lightbulb Rumor mill on Vonzell

Morning radio reported that there was a rumor going around the whole Vonzell thing - and according to that rumor (don't know how credible it is) a family member of hers was diagnosed with cancer -- her father. So if it's true, I guess it makes sense.. she's singing "how do i live without you" and gets choked up and says it was hard seeing her father there.

Personally I have nothing against Carrie. For me, she's an OK singer, but she still has that deer-in-the-headlights look most of the time.. like she's not very comfortable on stage. Stage presence is key!

Vonzell is def. my fav. between the 3 because she picks the hardest songs, and usually nails them. The songs she picks always show her range, and she looks comfortable on stage and has a good time up there. (With the exception being of course her first performance the other night).

Bo would be my second fav b/c of his personality and his voice.

Carrie would be my third not b/c I hate her or anything, she just hasn't "WOW'ed" me at all. She's a good singer, but probably not the best. That's just my opinion though

My favorite is Vonzell. She has both the voice and stage presence.
