LMAO at the voice of Chef quitting.... god forbid we make fun of Scientology.

The good thing about a cartoon being long running such as this one, it will probably be fairly easy to replace the voice- enough people have probably honed their imitation of him to step in.

And also he's opening himself up to getting poked fun of in a future episode.

I'm sure they can think of a million story lines for why Chef's voice changed.

They left out the best quotation in that article - Stone also said something like "He had no problem cashing our checks - and they were substantial - when we made fun of Christians."

That's exactly the quote I was thinking of when I posted. It's a good point on Stone's part.

Ha!

My favorite epsidoe by far is when Stan's parents mistakenly put the Back Door Sluts 9 video in the Lord of the Rings case and gave it to Butters.
Just seeing Butters going around saying "my preshhh-shusss, must have the presshhh-shusss" while trying to get his porno back had me LMAO.

Any good conspiracy theories on why this episode didn't air last week and they showed the "Film Festival/Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls" episode instead?

Read an article about it yesterday, forget where.

Apparantly Tom Cruise threatened to not do any publicity for MI3 if it aired. Whoever the production company on that movie is owned by the same media giant that Comedy Central is, and I guess a lot of pressure was asserted.

Though as I talked about with one of my friends, Tom not doing publicity for MI3 might be better than if he did.

Yes. Paramount and Comedy Central (and CBS, which is why Trey & Matt's appearance on Letterman was sooooo lame) are all owned by Viacom.

I agree that Tom promising to shut up might be the best publicity this film could get.

Oh, and the current Rolling Stone has a really good article on Scientology if you want to check it out.

Cruise's camp denies it, but so what else is new?

How about the "brown note" episode where Mr. Garrison was hurt that his dad never molested him?

Or the timeshare episode where the boys are learning to ski? Pizza...fries...pizza..fries..

"Ok, you did fries, when you should've done a pizza, if you do that, you're gonna have a bad time..."

I personally like Butters, he seems to have traveled from the past, he seems so innocent and uses phrases that people haven't said in decades...

Yeah, and the most horrible things always happen to him. Like when they made him fake his own suicide to dress up like a girl and then his parents thought he was a demon so they chained him up in the basement and killed that woman right in front of him for him to eat as his dinner. I'll probably go to hell for laughing at that, but its funny.
