For what are you proudest of your GLO? AND what should your GLO be proud of you for?

I'm proud of Alpha Gamma Delta for deciding at the very beginning of existence to strive to become a national organization on its own (not becoming a colony of an existing org.)

I hope that they are proud of me for trying to bring the campus NPC advisors closer together. I think that although the original group has changed, we will need each other more than ever in the next few years. (Also for being on the Greek housing steering committee.)

i'm proud of LPsiD for it's ability to evolve and grow without compromising our founders' visions.

i hope that LPsiD can be proud of me for reworking our national website whenever (if ever!) i finish!

I am proud of Alpha Gamma Delta for recognizing that changes needed to be made in our Volunteer Services Team structure and for being progressive in going for it. I am proud that we implemented a full training for all volunteers and advisors this year. I am proud that we are re-evaluating our reporting and moving into the 21st century with an email system for the volunteers implemented this summer and online reporting coming very soon. I'm proud that we are publishing more things online rather than on paper, recognizing that our collegians are more comfortable with a computer than with paper and besides, it saves a lot of money and trees too! I'm very proud that one of our founders is in the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame. I'm proud of our Purpose and the meaning behind all of our secret symbols. I'm proud of our Foundation for really stepping things in the last few years. I'm VERY proud of our leadership institute (available to all women everywhere!) I don't expect them to be proud of me. I give my time because I think it's a worthwhile thing to do with my time and I can only hope that I can help the chapters I work become the best that they can be so that they have a good collegiate experience and are motivated to stay involved as alumnae. I also hope that I can inspire a few women to impact the world (ok, that sounds cheesy, but it's true)

I am proudest of AOII because of its commitment to our philanthropy, Arthritis research and more recently, juvenile arthritis. Arthritis affects millions of Americans, is the #1 cause of disability in this country, and certain types of arthritis target women and children in particular. Our international philanthropy was previously another worthwhile cause, Frontier Nursing. After supporting that cause for many years, AOII felt it was important to make a change, get behind the arthritis cause, and recognize the significance of helping to raise awareness and fund arthritis research grants.

In being an active volunteer for the Arthritis cause, I strive to set a positive example in the greek community and on a national level, as an AOII alum who literally walks the Walk!

I am proud of Zeta Tau Alpha for our consistent and tireless efforts for our philanthropy - the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We work towards such a great cause and I'm so proud to tell other people I'm a Zeta and that that's our philanthropy. I'm also proud of ZTA for the inception of our amazing creed (http://www.zetataualpha.org/default....t&ContentId=41) that I live every day. In fact, our creed is posted in my cubicle at work. I'm also encouraged to be a strong women by our 9 wonderful founders who founded ZTA on their own as a women's fraternity (two of our founders' brothers helped with knowledge of Greek lore to assist us in picking our name and patron godess but we have no official fraternity that helped us, so we are known as a women's fraternity and not as a sorority).

I hope that ZTA is proud of my efforts to get involved again as an alum after my three year hiatus, but also for the fact that I never once forgot I was a Zeta and still lived the ideals our founders established each and every day.
