"Where the Heart Is" is my favorite too! It is so inspiring because of the way that the main character makes it through hard times with the help of her friends and her own perserverence. It really leaves you with a positive outlook. The book is the same way, but better. Thanks for reminding me of that awsome movie, I think I'll go rent it tomorrow.

Thumbs up

From the 80s:

The Goonies--how can you not laugh everytime you hear Data say "SLICK SHOES" and "CHESTER COPPERPOT"?

16 Candles--I wish everyone could have a Long Duck Dong "Autooooomobile!"

Adventures in Babysitting--I had a massive crush on Keith Coogan and I used to spend my allowance $$$ buying Teen Beat and BOP for his posters.

and who could forget...

Dirty Dancing--I've watched this movie over and over again since I was 8, and though I really love this movie, only now have I come to accept how cheesy the lines are.

And movies of today...

CENTERSTAGE--this movie pretty much summarized everything I've dreamed of as a little girl.

and the one that takes it all...

COYOTE UGLY!!! I swear I will work in a bar like that one day!
