I LOVED Michael's outfit! And I'm SO glad Bradley got the book.
Angela's done really well these past two weeks. Way to change my opinion of her SOME.

I'm very glad Michael won. He really nailed Pam Grier's look. I liked Angela's and Uli's dresses, too. Robert really needs to step it up - he's so talented but the last couple weeks he's just been disappointing.

I'm so glad Michael won! His past few outfits have been wonderful and I'm glad he finally won one.
What's up with Robert? I liked him so much at the beginning. His first dress was adorable...but now he's been so boring!

Can we please just AXE Vincent? That outfit was god-awful. Granted Bradley's was crap too, but jeez...ug-ly!
Good on Michael, that was a great outfit and a fab color. I also have to concur with what is being said about Robert. I love his stuff, he can do better. Come on Robert!

For those of you who are Katherine fans, she's doing what she calls AUF'd Runway, where she does each week's challenge at home, using all the same guidelines, budgets, timelines, etc. as they do on the show. So far she's done the INC. challenge and the Miss USA challenge (using the design she'd pitched to Tara). You can see the results on her blog.

Episode 7
I can't believe I live in a world where Vincent won a challenge and Robert was voted off in the same episode.
Frankly, I think Uli and Michael were robbed of the win.

What was up with Jeffrey? He was really mean to Angela's mom.

I think Jeffrey should have been gone this week. His outfit was truly hideous and I did not care for the way he treated Angela's mom. I thought the two Heidis speaking to each other in German was cool. It would have been fun if Heidi's and Nina's moms had showed up too - I liked Michael Kors's mom.
I thought Uli or Michael should have won. I hated the collar of Vincent's dress. I liked Kayne's outfit too.

Yeah..I thought Uli should have won...her outfit was the best this week...sometimes I don't know what the judges are looking for...and I definitely thought that Jeffrey should have gone home...I have no respect for him.

yeah, his attitude was really bad. and the whole dress idea he had was not cute. i don't know what was going on with the colors and the design.
but i must admit, they both were being difficult...designer and client.

I agree. While Jeff was starting to grow on me (I thought his "garbage" dress was a real contender for the win last week), his dress was ugly while Robert's was merely boring (again).
I don't know what the judges were thinking this week.

Amen!
I'm sorry Angela's mom went overboard when she started whining about the colors and that they weren't "what she wanted". I understand as a designer you want to please your client, but for me as a potential client (hypothetically), I would also be open that the designer knows much more about fabric, cut, color, design, etc... than I do. I would assume that the designer is going to do their best to make me look good.
Plus, I'm sorry, Angela's mom was very much a person who is extremely uncomfortable with her body (as evidenced by her baggy and boring clothing). (I also saw it in her attitude and body language). They totally had a difference in opinion on what the design should be, they were both being difficult.
It would be different if it weren't a competition. I mean if this was just Angela's mom coming to Jeffrey to get a dress made, I'm sure they could have worked something out. But because it's a competition and because they only had one day to get the dress done, he really had to do something that would impress the judges. As much as he wanted to work with the Angela's mom, he had to think about himself.

Although I do definitely agree Angela's mom was being totally difficult saying that its not the color she wanted and such, I do think that Jeff still took it a little overboard. He should have just ignored her, let her keep whining and still made the dress, but instead he decided to demean (sp?) her and yell at her. He was just very disrespectful to her, and his mom really didn't do anything to help. She should have told him to stop or check his attitude, but she didn't. I know he had a rough life and i know this is something positive for him, but don't encourage his behavior and tell Angela's mom that its something he's passionate about.
I don't know...I don't really like people that have a lack of respect for people. IMO he was being harder on her because it was Angela's mom. If it had been anyone else's mom he probably wouldn't have been as difficult as he was, but just the simple fact that it was ANGELA'S mom, he decided to take his hatred of Angela out on his mom.
And poor Angela...i'm sorry, i might not like her, but i'd hate to see a fellow competitor yell at my mom and me not really be able to do anything about it. I would have hated to be in Angela's position.
