BSA particulars

Each BSA council has a NESA (National Eagle Scout Association) chapter associated with it. And I believe that every state has a BSA council Headquarters in it, so I think that Boy Scouts has a chapter in every state. (NESA being a part of BSA)

Awesome! Now we know that the friendship network and boy scouts are in all 50 states. I still have no idea why any fraternity would want to be in Alaska or Hawaii, but to each their own.

It doesn't say "social organization". It doesn't say "professional organization". It doesn't say "multicultural organization". Hell, it doesn't even say "Greek organization"!

So until the original question is directed ONLY towards social GLOs, then I think everyone here is perfectly in line with the original question to discuss any type of organization that is or may be, in all 50 states.
Yes, but if you use your trusty context clues, you'll see that the URL is "www.greekchat.com", and you may even notice Greek letters in her sig. If she were referring to scrapbooking club, she would have posted it on a scrapbooking board.

What about that Red Hat Club (for women over 50)? That club has seriously sprouted far and wide.

I had never heard of them, but I was at work one morning and there was a luncheon in the back dining room filled with about 25 old ladies wearing purple suits and red hats. I thought I was in the twilight zone.

It does not include those that were there, but those that are there now!

Please narrow it down to those GLOs of Social Greeks and Those that are Still in Existence if you will.
I was thinking the same thing.

I agree with ariesrising. Then let's throw in the Junior League - we have chapters in 50 states, Canada, Mexico and England. (www.ajli.org). Anybody else a member? PM me!

Denise

Do people in this Greek Life forum really give a damn if the Hats Club or the Junior League have chapters in all 50 states?

Now that it's been thrown out there, I don't see why not? I give a damn.

However, if someone hadn't gone off earlier about the original intent of this thread, then I think it the Red Hat Society and the Junior League wouldn't be at the center of discussion.

Be sure to thank that individual on your way out.

We've never had a chapter in NJ.

Honestly, I don't think the Extension Committee sits around with a map of the 50 states and decides which presentations to accept.

11 Canadian provinces... that's impressive, considering there are only 10 .
