Okay I admit that the first time I watched this show was the other night. I absolutely just fell in love (not literally) with Marty.
I really liked his acoustic version of Everlong and I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Trees. I definately agree with Dave Navarro when he said he could hear that song on the radio. I WANT that song!!!!!!

Was anyone else even slightly impressed with MiG's performance. He just blew me away, and now I'm back on the Grassy Knoll. I just moved off of it a week ago, darn it.
DH doesn't think Marty's anywhere near RFOB, but I think it's more of an appearance "not riot" than a vocal "not riot".
At least we know we'll hear some INXS songs next week! I don't know what I'm going to do once this silly show is over. Addictions are hell, ya know?

1. Who do you WANT to win RS:INXS? mmmmMARTY!
2. Who do you really think SHOULD win RS:INXS? MiG
3. Will you buy the new INXS album later this year? Yep, probably.
4. Will you see INXS on tour starting in January 2006? Plan to unless JD wins. I just don't think he is riot at all.
5. Do you plan to follow any of the "not riot" rawkers after RS? If so, who and how? I got a kick out of Ty and Deanna's voice grew on me. So, I'll keep an eye on those two for sure. If MiG or mmmmMarty aren't roit, DEFINITELY both of them.
6. What are you going to do with yourself after next week? I DO NOT KNOW!!! Watch RS on DVR? Get ready for Alias?
7. Rumor has it that there will be a second season of RS. Who would you like to see as the band in question?

1. Marty (no question about that one)
2. Marty (although I do like Mig and JD)
3. ? (if I do I'd buy it through I-Tunes  )
4. ? (the tour thing really depends on when they come to Phx, where & price)
5. probably not unless Marty doesn't win and I'd "follow" his band
6. Get ready for all the lovely season premieres that are starting (Alias, CSI, ANTM)
7. I really can't think of any off the top of my head, but I really like AOTTalum's idea of Van Halen, so I'll go with them b/c I like them.

1. Who do you WANT to win RS:INXS? Marty. He is by far the most well-rounded of the remaining 3. Good looking (IMO), intense, talented singer/songwriter/musician, good collaborator, experienced
2. Who do you really think SHOULD win RS:INXS? JD. I think he's the best fit, and they have pretty much pre-ordained him...although, we'll see how Marty does on Pretty Vegas tonight...that? was an awesome move, IMO...
3. Will you buy the new INXS album later this year? Probably
4. Will you see INXS on tour starting in January 2006? Probably not...they won't be coming to my hometown
5. Do you plan to follow any of the "not riot" rawkers after RS? If so, who and how? Yes. Jordis & Ty for sure, Marty & MiG as well (assuming they don't win).
6. What are you going to do with yourself after next week? Uch. Catch up on all the other TiVO watching I've been neglecting, but I'll mourn the end of RS:INXS for a while... I won't miss that PITA on-line voting, though.
7. Rumor has it that there will be a second season of RS. Who would you like to see as the band in question? I think Van Halen is the only viable option...Nirvana has been mentioned elsewhere, but (a) they would never do that and (b) the fans wouldn't stand for it if they DID do it....
