I'm partial to my own of course, but I like the Alpha Xi Delta and Alpha Phi crests.

All this talk of heraldry has me intrigued. I never thought that there were rules behind the practice... makes me want to investigate further

Cool

I of Course Love LAMBDA CHI ALPHA and there was a lot of study done to make It Heraldric as perfect as possible.

There were Three, The Gamma Plate, which was the first, the Second was revised to get to what a true Crest was about, and then upon the largest Merger in GLO History, the Third which is used today. Merger, 1939, LXA and TKN!

I am not saying that there are any Crest that are bad, there are all of them Very Colorful, Simplistic and I am sure to the Heraldic Way. The intricacies and Designs have A Special Meaning to each GLO that They Represent.

But, if one notices, the Helment is that of a Squire, not a Reigning Crown. This will denote----! OOPS, In Ritual! Oh, in LXA.

I need to get on ariesrising Thread and review them once again, She has done a Fantastic Job for us to use!

I love our crest. My chapter wins the crest drawning every year. I also kind of like ZTA's crest.

Check out the similarities between Kappa Alpha Order and Phi Mu.

A favorite shirt from college is a KA/Phi Mu social shirt where the crests were merged so that half of each cost of arms is put together to make a KA/Phi Mu crest. (of course I married a KA an maybe that is why )

Roqueemae that sounds really cool. Do you think you could scan a picture of that so we can see what it looks like?
