I think they picked one this old because they don't want another pope whose reign would be over 20 years.....

I was thinking the same thing, but just didn't want to say it.

When I seen him on the news, my first thought was, "So in about two more weeks I'm going to be bombarded with coverage of the Pope and Vatican again. They couldn't find nobody with at least a good five years on 'em. Shoot I missed a lot of good shows."

An interesting selection of photos displaying Hitler's alliance with German cardinals. I never knew that Hitler didn't separate Church from State and that there was a form of alliance and acceptance of Hitler at that time.

LOL in one of the pictures they are doing the Nazi salute. The man on the far left ,dressed in his robe, DOES NOT look interested at all. I think the camera even caught him rolling his eyes at all the hoopla.
