When did they change the name? They were still called Samoas during last springs cookie sale. Or maybe the troups down here were just selling some really old boxes.

Yeah. Look at these pictures. Doesn't it sorta remind you of something? Like a really sloppy something?

I think it's a regional thing... Where I used to live they were called Samoas, but when I bought them last year (in a different city) they were called Caramel Delights. When I asked about the name change everyone looked at me like I had 3 heads too

Mystery solved. There are two different bakeries that produce Girl Scout Cookies. The cookie selection is a little different, and the names of the common cookies are too. The only cookie that has the same name at both bakeries is Thin Mints.

Here are the selections:

ABC Bakers (Caramel DeLites)

Little Brownie Bakers (Samoas)

Each council decides which baker to go with and what the price of the cookies will be. (That I didn't know! I always thought the price was pre-set.)

WTF?! I thought the cookies were always $4.

Whatever they call them, I love 'em!

Our House Mom's granddaughter sells them and they are around $2.50 a box. I always buy two boxes and end up eating them within a few days. I heart caramel!

I don't know who makes them, but a few weeks ago I bought the Sugarr Daddy flavored lip balm. It smells and taste like the real thing.
