I'm a little but...

I attended the concert early this month and all I can say, the boy is bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He left me wanting more. I was looking forward to Prince performing Insatiable and 1999, but for lack of a better word, the concert left me in awe.

Well my child just called me an hour ago to say she was sitting waiting for the concert to begin and thought she'd rub it in.

There are so many folx at the concerts you have no idea who all is there. But ironically, a soror had told me she was going the same night I was, and lo and behold she was sitting right behind us. You know we clowned.

Mini-me just called to say that Prince did a full version of Adore tonight in Philly. She also said he brought Patti on the stage, disguised in a big hat as someone he randomly picked to dance with him. Then after dancing, Patti took off the hat and started singing with him. She said the crowd went even more ballistic.

Yes he did the full Adore when I saw him on Sunday. Not that Patti was on Stage, his special quest on Monday was Jill Scott and it was suppose to be Morris Day and the Time on Tuesday.

I know a few other Sorors that went yesterday, and I'm waiting to seee how they enjoyed the show, because I know that they did.

I am glad you all enjoyed Prince. I had 3rd row seats for a concert in Chicago. The concert was cancelled and then rescheduled. It was resceduled for the day I left for Vegas. I am so disappointed that I was unable to see "His Purple Baddness" but from all of your posts and kiml22 I hear it was fabulous.

The show probably was canceled because the drummer's daughter or mother died. Prince gave the band the entire week off. Their first performance after that, was the Essence Fest.

Did anyone know he was afraid of clowns? At Essence, according to our paper, Prince demanded that Ronald McDonald LEAVE the dome or else he was NOT performing. McDonald's is one of the sponsors for the event. Prince learned that Ronald was "in the house" and gave Essence the "ultimatum". LMAO. I didn't see Ronald THAT night, but I did see Prince. LOL

Yes when I was in Chicago hanging with Taylaur_2000 I might add, and when they canceled the the shows they did say that it was the drummers child that had died.

Yep, Morris Day and Time opened for him last night.

The drummer's 4 year old daughter drowned in a swimming pool. And yes, I read about the clown phobia on another board.
