Hootie, I'll trade you, your rock for my Rolex.
By Rolex, I mean a watch I bought off the street for $10 from some shady looking guy.
My boss received a real Rolex for her birthday which might 'accidentally' slip off her wrist and into my pocket.

At this point, everyone knows to buy me white gold/silver/platinum. I think yellow gold looks too much like my own skin tone, and looks slightly cheap on me. My watch is two-tone, and I like it. But as soon as it's time for a trade-in, I'll go with another material.
Hootie, I want a Rolex. I'm attracted to the reputation and quality, plus I think it's time for a big girl watch. What kind do you all sell?

Hootie, you're going to have a bling bling Rolex. I want to see a picture.
My sister worked for a luxury watch company. She paid 1/3 retail for her watches. Nice perk for her!

My parents got me into gold jewelry as a child. So, majority of my pieces are gold. My watch is two-toned though. I do like the look of silver. My main problem is that I have 7 earrings, all which are gold (little hoops, nothing too big). When I do wear silver, I take them all out and replace the first set with silver hoops. My boyfriend keeps telling me I better build up my collection of silver, white gold, or plantinum cause that's what my ring will be when he gets it! Plantinum, that is. Damn, I guess I can settle for that!

I don't have a preference. I wear both gold or silver depending upon the outfit or occasion. I do prefer to have a white gold or platinum engagement ring.

Is white gold more expensive than yellow gold . . and why is it white? Do they dye it or something?

I can't find anything on the cost difference, but white gold is explained here:
http://gilletts.com.au/pages/jewellery_facts_white.htm
and I'd choose Platinum.

I like them both, but I look better with silver.

I absolutely adore yellow gold. My parents gave me my first yellow gold diamond ring when I was tiny. It's like a size 1.5. I was hooked from then on. I do prefer lighter shades of yellow gold though. White gold/silver/platinum doesn't look right on me. Just makes me look more pasty than usual.
