Gamma Zeta Chapter at Mississippi State University made quota plus!!

WE GOT 67 NEW MEMBERS!!!

Our total is now up to about 159.

The USF colonies quota was set at 103 by council. The lovely advisor ladies got our original number of interested women of approx. 360 down to 125 girls. They then selected only 103 girls from that 125 even though they wanted to take everyone! We are so excited. USF's greek system has been around for a while but they are just starting to make it larger. They just put in housing this semester and the Zeta's will get a house in Phase II of the development. We are now the largest sorority on campus 103+4 transfer students=107!

It was so exciting to meet the 6 new ladies of the Kappa Iota chapter at Moravian College in PA this weekend when I went back for Homecoming. They are cute, fun, and dedicated already. They looked right at home in the baby blue homecoming shirts! Congrats to them and the chapter for all their hard work!

Wow. You all must have HUGE Greek systems at your schools for quota to be set that high. Our quota this year was actually LOWER (33 vs. 39) than last year because of recruitment being before classes started. I hope we have a later recruitment next year, because I have heard many complaints about the early rush from both old and new members.

More specifically, the poor freshmen who had to move into their dorms the day before the first night of recruitment barely had a chance to get settled, let alone get used to classes and college life in general, before adding to the chaos with Greek life.

Anyhow, congrats fellow Zetas on all the quotas met!!!

Wow, PHC had a hard time getting girls AFTER classes started this year! We waited for 4 weeks until we had recruitment. By that time, girls who may have been interested in going greek to meet people were already establishing themselves. Next year I think we're moving recruitment to the 1st or 2nd week of classes!

PS) What are some of your plans for good recruitment? My chapter had a nard time this year.

Just wanted to share that the Beta Omega chapter at Union University had a wonderful recruitment this year. We picked up 31 amazing, beautiful, Godly young ladies (quote was 29) and I am so blessed to call them my sisters! Since the # was so big, alot of us older members got to pick up a 2nd little this year... I now have the TWO best littles and the best grandlittle in the world (Holly, Jenna, and Jennifer I love you!!)

Oh and congrats to all of you Beta Omega sisters who were in Variety Show, it was a "THRILLER" (sorry to be so cheesy!) It was the best performance EVER and I was so glad that I could be a part of it with all of you! We really blew the audience away!

The ZTA's at the University of Tennessee were quota plus! We have 54 new girls!!! This is biggest pledge class in the history of Panhellenic!!! We also have the highest retention rate! Go ZTA girls!!!
