Why are the Harry Potter audio books so expensive.

I want to get them for my mum so she can listen to them in the car on the way to work because she doesn't have the time to read them.

But OoTP is $115.00!

PS is was $80.00. The cheapest I saw was CoS at $54.00.

They are re-airing Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone tonight on ABC Family at 8pm.
Or rather they are re-airing The Sorcerer's Stone . Tonight is also the extended version of the movie.
