Waaaaaaah!!!! And made worse, the only blue I have left to wear is a print that includes dark blue light blue and ORANGE. But a sea of blue didn't work yesterday, so maybe throwing in a little orange will confuse the fates.

Tonight I'm getting a pedicure (at home, with the girlfriends) during the game. Maybe focusing on girly stuff will change the odds. At least it will be less depressing.

Hunter Pence rocks!

Just a little trivia about Hunter. I saw him in Spring 2007 at the Round Rock Express games. At that time RR was the affiliate for the Houston Astros.
Look at him now with the Giants and kicking butt.

DubaiSis, I knew you were okay. And congrats on a very nice win tonight! See you Friday night?

(I won't comment on the pedicures and wine, unless you got Orange and Black polish)

I have a DATE Friday night, so while I will be watching the game, I won't be chitter-chatting here If I AM on here, you can quietly feel very bad for me.

The broadcasters are soooooo awful. The local sports bimbo (really, shouldn't that be the title for that girl, the blond dingbat who does the sports color) said the fans are just as responsible for the win as the players. I think some baseball moms who took their sons to hours and hours and hours of practice, the coaches, managers, trainers, doctors, and on and on might argue about that. The fans MIGHT be enjoying the win as much, but no, we are not responsible for the win.

Any Giants fan wearing their colors for Holloween?

I wondered when you would show up, Tom. Don't go counting those chickens yet. Still have four more games. We like to win in the bottom of the ninth in game 7. Want the fans to feel they got their $'s worth, you know!

DubaiSis, hope your date was worth missing the game. Tell me that won't happen again, right?

Play ball!

So, so bad. The good news is I got to see the game. The bad news is I made spaghetti sauce all the way from scratch, including blanching and peeling fresh organic tomatoes and fresh herbs, Italian sausage from Whole Foods, the whole shot, and he flaked. There's more to the story than that but let's leave it at it's a good thing I'm a pacifist.

Do I have to get screwed over in order for the Royals to win? If so, I guess I will take my lumps.

Throw him back in the sea, move on to the next one. That's my best advice.
