Exactly the one I was thinking of. Aspects of Theta Kappa Nu's arms, including its motto, were incorporated into Lambda Chi's arms, its badge was incorporated into Lambda Chi's associate member pin, and its rituals became (with some condensation and adaption) Lambda Chi's associate member ceremony.

I know that some groups, when they've absorbed locals, have used the local's letters as the chapter designation.
