They actually used one of the same lines in Filthy Rich and Designing Women -- Carlotta/Julia (Dixie Carter) to Kathleen/Suzanne (Delta Burke): "If sex were fast food, there'd be an arch over your bed!"
I have to admit, I had never seen Filthy Rich before - it's pretty good! At least, it had me laughing, which is more than I can say about most of the current sitcoms.

speaking of joseph, what about Third Rock from the Sun? i loved that show. it is very hard to choose only a few episodes but i guess i would have to say the pilot was one of my favorite, as well as when they host thanksgiving dinner and when john cleese shows up.
I had forgotten about The Powers That Be. I also thought that Valarie Mahaffey would have been perfect as Maris. /sidenote: She also played the mother of the special needs/terminally ill child on E/R that Dr. Ross (George Clooney) basically showed her how to euthanize. He was fired from the hospital and left for Seattle.

On "Girlfriends", a favorite running gag was that Toni could never remember Maya's son's name.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T488CRKUyk

My favorite one, because Maya just gives up on telling Toni one more time what her son's name is:

Toni: "Who's Jabari?"
Maya: "My son!"
Toni: "Jacuzzi changed his name?"
Maya: "No, girl, he's....yeah, girl, you like it?"
Toni: "No!"

Will and Grace when Karen was getting married to Lyle (Minnie Driver's father), J-Lo was the entertainment and Jack tripped her back-up dancer so that he could replace him.

"And remember, the secret to a happy marriage is.....oh, who am I kidding". Jennifer Lopez.
This is quite appropriate.

Some of my fave sitcom eps are Fresh Prince eps.

My other fave: When Will and Carlton become strippers to get the money to get Aunt Viv's bracelet back.
