Unless my kids want to become architects or engineers, I don't want them going to my alma mater.

Even then, I wouldn't really care what school they went to... It all depends what specifically they'd want to study.

I would love for my sons to become SigEps. If I have daughters, it'd be cool if they married SigEps. Or I'll get them pinned somehow. :P

The goal is a 100% SigEp family lol.

No kids here, but if I did have any - alma mater, definitely.

A friend of mine claims that his wife went to college to major in Greek, not the classical language but sorority/fraternity life. He went to a a top ranked liberal arts school that doesn't have a Greek system. For him, alma mater ...

Without a doubt, I would want my daughter to be a Chi Omega, regardless of the campus she chose.

I'm jealous of both the owls and the skull and cross bones. All my Chi O friends have such cool sorority related stuff.

LOL, my son said this.

No sé, it would be hard to choose. I love my 3 schools but my oldest 8 have gone to colleges that they've really liked and had a great time at. My oldest 6 girls have gone to schools without Pi Phi and flourished in their sororities.

Mm. I think I want a Pi Phi more. Just one?

This works out for us because our son can actually pledge SigEp at Georgetown.

Score one for the I-x1 family.

ADPi, definitely! My school leaves much to be desired, but Alpha Delta Pi never comes up short. I have to admit that I have fantasized about my future daughters Recruitments, and nothing would make me happier than them loving ADPi as much as I do! Plus they would be third generation legacies!!!

I would much prefer them to share my alma mater! There are so many great GLOs on campus that I think they could find their home at any one of them.

I wouldn't wish my alma mater on my family. It's not what it once was. Louisiana recently cut so much money from the higher education budget that I'm surprised the school is still running. I would love to see my nieces become AOIIs if that's what they wanted to be. I'd go to their initiations in a heartbeat! I'm not having kids, so that's as close as I can come for this question.

Alma Mater.... I'd love, love, love to have my (some day) daughters in my Sorority, but the Alma Mater bond would be a bigger one to share, and one their dad would enjoy (much more than me) too. There are so many Wisconsin things I love and would love to share.

I loved the Greek Community at Wisconsin, so I would be able to enjoy sharing that experience. I'd also still get to do sorority things with my daughter, such as the Alumnae Panhellenic Brunch, Mom's Weekends, and Homecoming Activities.

Finally, I think they can find the values I found in my sorority in nearly any sorority, but a good education is extremely important to me, and I know they'd get that there.

In all reality, I don't care too much, as long as they don't go to Minnesota or Michigan.

I just wouldn't pay for football tickets.
