Hello! I'm pretty-in-pink and I will be going through recruitment at a Big XII school and I am extremely excited! I have read the stickied notes about recruitment (heck, I've even printed some out!) I have secured recommendation letters for all the houses and am in the process of finalizing my outfits. I cannot thank you enough for everything that has been put on this site! The thread about what to say and what not to say is recruitment gold!
I just had a question about my rush. How competitive is Big XII recruitment compared to SEC?
Thank you all for everything you've posted! I will do a recruitment story (probably delayed)!

Generally speaking, if your school appears on this list of "must have recs schools" it's competitive.

Hello! I'm SoCalVeg and I'm rushing a California school as a junior transfer in the fall. I've only seen a few California rush threads, so I'm excited to bring a new perspective! I'm most likely going to do a live recruitment thread, so I'll reveal more (but not too much!) about myself then!

You should be going into recruitment with an open mind, looking at every chapter.

Congrats on attending UVA! I used to work in Greek Life at UVA. Attend any meet the Greeks events they put on this fall. Recs aren't necessary but don't hurt. All of the chapters are honestly great, and I loved working with the students there!
