Good news: Austin is back and there's a guest spot by Comedienne Kathy Griffin on Monday's (Sept. 26) show. I adored Austin's character, and I think Kathy is hilarious.

I am sad for Sami though. I thought the writers would let her be happy for a little bit. The reveal of Stan was so dramatic. I love that it was Kate though. Are the writers knocking out Lucas and setting up a Sami/Austin match again maybe?? I know Kate would love that too...

I personally think they need to recast the role of Carrie and have the Carrie/Austin/Sami/Lucas quadrangle back. Those were the good times!!!!

Question: Wasn't Carrie about to lose her virginity to Lucas when someone interrupted them? Didn't she eventually lose it to Austin? I know Sami lost her's to Lucas (therefore conceiving Will).

Ugh! I was annoyed by Carrie too. I remember reading that even the person who played Carrie didn't like the character. She was too....I don't know what the word is. Prissy? Waiting for the shining knight and doing nothing? She needed to have a rebel side or bad streak added to her character.

(Okay, if Carrie gets recast and gets into some trouble of her own, then bring her back. I don't want Sami to always be the "bad" one.)

They way I remember it. Sami was with Lucas, but wearing a similar shirt that Carrie also had (I think they were pink bowling shirts.). Austin (?) walked in, saw Sami and Lucas, but thought it was Carrie. I may be incredibly wrong, but this stands out in my head....Please corret me if need be.

No your right. Austin thought it was Carrie when it was actually Sami, so of course that caused turmoil between the couple. I think though everything worked out and Austin and Carrie slept together. But remember that Sami drugged Austin and then put on Carrie's perfume and they had sex. Sami pretty much left town after that. She came back a few months later when Carrie and Austin were about to marry and passed out (on purpose) proclaiming "my baby".

See this is why we need Carrie back. Those were good times. LOL.

What do you think of the possible Nicole and Austin coupling that the preview implied? It could be interesting, but seeing as how well Lucas and her "get along," I don't know.

What is with the new random hangout spot? I guess everyone was tired of Alice's. ::shrug::

I think Carrie should come back to defend Sami. I felt AWFUL for her, even my mom, who hates soaps, was like 'What's going on?'. I'm glad that they see it was all Kate's fault...Sami wouldn't have been so desperate if she wouldn't have been duped, etc. I just don't like Austin PECK, he's so 'DUH'. I was really hoping he'd be recast.

As happy as I am to see Austin back, I doubt they will pair him up with Nicole. You think Kate is going to let her son have a romance with nicole?!?!? I wish Kate would mind her own business, and stop meddling.

As for Lucas, I read in this week's Soap Opera digest that a short-term love interest was coming on the soap. I think she is supposed to be a waitress at Alice's. If I can find the info, I will let everyone know.

Guess what!!!!!!! Just got this week's Soap Opera Digest and guess who is coming back!

Carrie is coming back to Salem!!!!! She first tapes on October 31 or November 1st. She said that originally Days'execs were trying to get Patrick Mulddon (origina. Austin) back. But he didn't come back - obviously! But she is excited to be coming back. No news on how she was going to be in the storylines.....

There was more about upcoming Days, but I will post that later.......Guess I will have to TiVO DOOL while I'm in school.

Actually Sami did not lose her virginity to Lucas. She was raped by this guy. He actually was crazy about Carrie and when he couldn't be with Carrie, he raped Sami. That, coupled with the fact that she found out that Belle was actually John and her mom was having an affair with John, caused her to have an eating disorder and to turn into Evil Sami!

Okay...

here is the rest of the scoop!

-Jennifer finds out about Jack. Jack goes to pick up Jack Jr. and leaves his jacket. Jen picks it up and his medicine bottle falls out of the pocket. She and Frankie find out what it is for, and she confronts Jack. Jack, who had been searching the internet for ways to "disappear" fesses up.

-Sami is arrested for treason by Roman. Austin comes to her rescue after finding a loophole in the law. So she is not charged.

-Shawn and Mimi are asked to be Baby Kiriakis' godparents. Mimi freaks out. Phillip calms her down and asks her to do it as a favor to him. He then lets Mimi hold the baby. Mimi gets very emotional and goes home/to the roof. There Shawn is telling her what a great person she is, yada yada yada. He realizes just how awesome Mimi is and they finally kiss, for real. The next morning they are figuring out the last night's events.
