Don't worry about that. It's just another Earp-ism.

^^^I have never been able to tell that it's another Earp sock puppet (& aren't here lots of them...).

As an editor, I am frustrated by sentences that use misplaced modifiers.
Perhaps you meant "As a teacher, I am bugged by the use of "flys" instead of "flies"."

^^^And, on top of that, tattoos are painful. I've only been tattooed on my lower extremities--I can't imagine the pain of being tattooed on my face. Let alone sleeping through it.

Job application requires usernames AND passwords to websites for employment
The original story was what I was going to post here, but the updated one is what I found. Could you imagine giving out not just your user name, but your password as well to a potential employer? HELL NO.

That's just creepy. I have to wonder if employers are getting away with more crap because the economy is so bad and some people are just desperate enough for jobs to go along.

They claimed it was so they could really know about applicants, especially those in childcare, law enforcement, life guards, etc.; but there is no way in hell I'd give them the info. I'd just make myself so private they couldn't find me (which is the case except for my ONE professional face book account, nothing else has my government name). Allegedly it was "optional" and no one was treated unfairly for not disclosing. Montana has such an attitude of "stay out of my business" that I find it really surprising it happened there.

So, was I the only one who thought "SC govenor missing for 4 day" = "I'm going to creep on my wife in Argentina?"

Ok two stupid news stories in the span of 30 seconds.
1. Woman gets arrested for prostitution. She got upset with her john because he didn't have any money, but offered her a 30-pack case of snack size lays chips. She took it. She got arrested. He walks free.
Seriously? Are times that hard? You hit one rung with actual prostitution (though it does have its longevity and you can make your own hours...), but then you sexed for snacks? What were you gonna do with assorted chips? Sure can't pay your rent.
2. Woman sues General Mills (or maybe its Post?) because Crunch Berries don't contain real berries. She's suing for 4 years worth of cereal buying.
--crunch cereal should be eaten sparingly after the age of like 14. Like once a month if that. You been buying it consistently for 4 years???
--really? Berries? The food has a mascot. Its the captain of an onomatopeic cereal. Were you really going for nutritional value?

When I heard about this a few days ago... I had a very WTF reaction.
I mean.. it's a 4 year old washing a puppy in the bathroom... what water sources can he reach? Toilet.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8101818.stm
I should probably say it's about a boy flushing a puppy.

Why did she think the Berries in Crunch Berries cereal were real?
People, unless the cereal contains actual dried fruit, you are eating a mixture of Kool-aid and cereal dough.
