OU finally looked like they should today. First time I have seen yalls defense play worth a damn this year..........and Allen Patrick is a very good running back.

Patrick has great accelleration.
What worries me is the way they're handing the ball off to him. He gets this running start and then they pitch the ball backwards to him. Makes me nervous every time I see it. It's well suited to his running style because it lets him take advantage of his accelleration, but risky.
I missed the Texas vs. Tech game today.. working on a brief. It looked like a hell of a game from all of those red/orange lines across my ESPN screen.

Our game was one of the more crazy that I have seen. We got down 21 nothing after the first quarter.....their qb Graham Harrel was better than perfect....i've actually never seen a qb perform like that in a half. They run that Playstation2 style offense so its easy for them to rack up yards. I think he had 367 passing in the first half. We cut it to 31 21 at half.......and then adjusted nicely and held them scoreless and to around 150 yards in the second half. Colt McCoy had another great game, 21 of 31 with 4 touchdows. Tech had -1 rushing yards for the game, ,but that doesn't really surprise me.
We played pretty poorly I thouhgt, 1 interception for a TD and three fumbles....so it was a pretty ugly day.

If Peterson goes pro, Colt should be a shoe-in for Heisman next year.

He is a pretty special player.....he reminds me alot of Major Applewhite when he was a freshman. Tons of poise and composure....can run really well, throws a great football, and is damn smart. He is playing was beyond his age/grade. I didn't even realize it till today.....but he is only 2 passing TDs off the all time Texas record.....and we've still got atleast 4 more games. He's going to shatter it.

Just hope that Mack hasn't offered a Chrissy Simms deal to Brantley.
Otherwise, I'd be shocked if y'all got Brantley.
Sneed is waiting in the wings. As things shake out, I could legitimately see Texas getting a shot at another NC. I'm not a Horns fan by any means, but I can recognize a hell of a team when I see it. At the RRS your line play was just amazing. That O-line was blowing our D-line off the ball and generally having their way. Hopefully, some of the young line players at OU can mature like that. Texas is in a good place for the next year or two.

Looking forward to playing UT again in Kansas City on December 2nd. Missouri will fall apart as always and will continue to do so as long Gary Pinkel is their coach.

Anyone in the Top 15 (minus the Big East teams) would probably destroy WVU. It's not hard to go undefeated in the Big East.

I agree......the BCS is really screwed up right now. USC loses and Louisville jumps from 8 to 5 in the standings.......and we stay in the same place at 7.
I agree though about WVU.

The BCS is messed up. WVU does have an easy schedule, I'll agree, but it isn't their fault that Miami and VT jumped ship (along with BC), and now Big East is an easy conference.
So I still gotta root for my boys!

I think WVU would get beat by a lot of good teams, but I also think its unfair to put them in this position. Unfortunately though, we have to draw the line somewhere about having a cakewalk schedule. Also, I don't think any conference without a championship game should be eligible for an automatic bid to the BCS.

^^I have been saying that for a while....its pretty unfair for conferences like the the SEC and Big XII when they have to play a Conf. Championship....while a good team in, say, the Pac 10 gets to run the table on their sub par conference and breeze into a BCS.
