Same with me. If I'm getting good money, I keep attacking.

If you keep attacking until someone is depressed, you get points toward one of those medals that give you good rewards, so of course I attack until a girl is in the spa or depressed.
I've apparently lost millions of dollars on vacation because I haven't been around to bank.
Oh, and I came back to 275 friend requests, because I can't get that SLife Platinum Group to leave me alone!

I haven't gone on those boards yet-so I only have 37 sisters at level 50. I can really only play early in the AM now.
Can't you just delete your post in the group though, and then they won't have your name anymore?

I've left the group and taken my name out of the Add Train, and I'm still getting invites out the yin-yang.
I thought you could only go up to 500 unless you bought "boarders" from the House Mom. But since I've discovered that I can have more than that, I've added 30 people at a time, sent them invites, and then deleted them. That way, it stays under control, and I'm not trying to delete 400 people at once from my FB.

So you don't have to wait for them to accept you invite before you delete them? They could literally have access to your page for only a half hour? or is there a way to deny access to your page info before you sign them on?

If I win but get less than $10,000, I usually only attack once. If I get between $10,000 and $25,000, I'll usually attack twice. If I get between $25,000 and $40,000, I'll usually attack 3 times, I usually try not to attack the same person more than 3 times in a row....but if I'm getting $50,000 or more from them, especially $60,000 or $70,000; I'll keep attacking until they're depressed or in the spa
Someone said they've noticed that you don't usually show upon the Fight List unless you're actually signed into Facebook; does anyone know if this is true or not??

But then when you sign off, wouldn't you stop showing up on the fight list? If that was true, then no one would be attacked while they were sleeping, but that happens, so I think that isn't true.

I didn't think about the confidence thing, I guess cause I mainly play on myspace and 9 times outta 10 people on the FL are in the spa or depressed. lol. But you're probably right. I knew that you would show up on the fight list regardless of whether you signed in or not.
The only way that you won't get attacked for signing off, is if you were TD'ed and then signed off right after. Then you would gain all your confidence back but anytime someone tried to attack you, they'd get the message "this person is depressed."

People who name their fake sorority life houses after real NPC sororities kind of bug me.

So, if you randomly show up on the fight list even if you're not signed in to facebook, why do I not have any attacks all night while my computer's off, but get attacked by 4 people as soon as I sign on?

i have a couple questions on strategy:
when buying/claiming glam, is the goal to have at least one of each item, regardless of how much charm/popularity it's worth, or many of the the top pieces of glam i have access to at my level?
as i level up, i can get rid of the smaller things like party packs, sunglasses and bicycles, right?
also, i really dont invest in the game by completing offers for BPs. so when i get my 1 BP per level, should i save for the next few levels (which would be a long time, as all the good glam is 10+ BPs) or keep spending them on the Summer Vacation Gala and social events that require BPs? i really didnt understand the concept of BPs in the beginning and spent them at the casino. i didnt know that having 30+ meant something valuable!

When you attack or are attacked, you fight with a number of sisters equal to 5x your level, up to a max of 500 (or the number of sisters in your house, whichever is smaller). You should have one accessory, one outfit, and one ride for each of them. So if you're a level 12, you should have 60 accessories, 60 outfits, and 60 rides. Go for quantity first, then go for higher quality.
As you level up, you can start selling off smaller things to buy better glam. Keep in mind, though, that many of the socializing events require that you own certain glam items.

I'm at Level 90 with 41 sisters. Does this mean I should have 41 x 5 necklaces, 41 x 5 Dolce gowns, etc?

and about the 5x thing... i have 35 sisters, wouldnt i need to have 175 accessories, rides and outfits, versus what aephi alum says about having 5x the level? that doesnt make sense to me.
also, is this realistic to have 5x whatever level/# of sisters?
|
The chocolate ankle boots I think are at level 40-something, the mocha suede boots at level 53-ish. The sapphire gown is around level 70-ish.
The formula for the number of sisters you attack with is 5x your level. So at level 34, you should be fighting with 170 sisters, but since you only have 35, you'll only require glam for those sisters.
I would agree with getting more sisters, if you want a fighting chance to beat others. But you can also stock up on popularity skill points, and make sure you max your glam. The hummers take forever to get, but they are essential to winning fights, especially in higher levels.
ETA: And i'd totally suggest making a totally different character to do the socializing events, that way you don't have to worry about using your skill points for energy, and you dont have to worry about the glam. That is what I do, and I save my bp's for my main character.
