Seriously, the snuggie freaks me out. Everytime I see that commercial, I think of cult wear.

LOL!!!!
I just saw the commercial for the first time on Thanksgiving. Apparently the rest of my family had already seen the commercials... I was just like WHAT?!
I completely agree with the people who think they look like cult robes.. lol

It's 55 degrees in my place right now. It's a good thing my blanket lined Carhartt has sleeves. Haha...

I saw this commercial on tv for the first time the other day, & I was cracking up because it made me think of this thread. As soon as it was over, my 4 yr old niece turns to me & says "T.T., I want a snuggie".
I cracked up & told her we would get her something else instead.

Down with the snuggie.
I saw a kid at school today with a Bob the builder blanket(this was probably a junior), I seriously wanted to recommend the snuggie or one of those new fangled pieces of clothing - a jacket.

I'm so damn cold right now I'd take a snuggie!
(apparently 3 layers of clothing, boots, and a blanket aren't enough in my apartment)

Gotta say, it would have been handy at the soccer game last week.

I’m waiting for the day when college/pro team logos are printed on these things, and people start wearing them to the games.
Could you imagine… “It’s Snuggie day at Beaver Stadium!”
I’d pay to see that.

I just saw that commercial yesterday! It really does look like a cult robe, but still I found myself saying that 2 for $19.99 wasn't a bad deal....

Hey, feel free to enjoy the Snuggie inside the confines of your own home, domicile or cardboard box. I can see how it could have some utility if you are otherwise unable to regulate the temperature of your immediate surroundings, or if you somehow don't realize that the TV remote's signal will magically travel through most blankets. Plus, hey - who needs backwarmth anyway? It's not like my ass is leaving the couch tonight! At 2 for $20 it's not like you're breaking into the kids' college fund (I hope), and paying for quality is clearly overrated (unless we're talking about a handbag).
Just realize that most people look kind of like douche bags wearing sweatpants in public . . . and the Snuggie makes sweatpants look like finely-tailored Italian silk. Keep the Snuggie to yourself, Champ - take a few plays off.
