The babydaddy is still a mystery. Signs are pointing to either Dylan or Brandon (more leaning towards Brandon, since Kelly brought him up when talking to Brenda in last night's episode), but at least one poster at TWOP said that Sammy's hair reminds them of Steve (which means that Steve was cheating on Janet). Who knows? Could be any of those guys....or a surprise!

 | Well I don't think it's anyone we know b/c in the cafeteria scene the one teacher was hitting on her and he said Kelly Taylor and then she said it's Matthews now.

So that possibly takes out Dylan and Matt, who were at the end of the old show.

oh, and in the scenes for the next episode... I think Kelly was arguing with her mom and said something about "I'm not going to let you ruin her life like you ruined mine" (or something like that) ... were they talking about her half-sister, Erin? (the baby Jackie had with David's dad Mel) Is she going to be one of the HS kids?

Regarding Erin Silver = last we saw her, she was a blonde little girl. Nice to see how they've changed things up. I'm thinking Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez won't have too much of a big part in the new 90210 since Gabrielle Carteris hasn't said anything about going back to reprise her role as Andrea. The gal playing Hannah was Dr. Greene's daughter on ER (Rachel).
I know I'm in the minority here, but I liked it. Probably because of Hot Dad and Hot Teacher. I know I'm a lot older when I find myself drooling over the cast's adult characters. Although Ethan's not too bad looking...

I have a feeling Hot Dad's son goes to West Beverly. It'd be really funny if the daughter ends up hooking up with him, not knowing he's really her brother.

Hot dad's son would be about 20, as he is older than Naomi's older sister who is in college.

Flipping around during commercials on Private Practice, landed on 90210 for about 45 seconds. Wow. Bad acting. Bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD acting.

I watched part of it last night, for the first time. I'm on the fence - the Kelly/Brenda part keeps me more riveted than the rest of it. If/When they leave, I'll probably be gone, too.
BTW, Brenda got a phone call from Dylan, and he asked to speak to Kelly, too; the teacher who kept asking Kelly out (is that Hot Teacher?) asked Brenda who Dylan was. Brenda said, "Sammy's father." Baby Daddy found!

I missed the dialogue at one point, but I think Brenda & Dylan are still an item (even though she denied it to Kelly). Dylan does want to see his kid, though. Just like the original 90210, only with child support and real jobs!

I agree about the leaving once Kelly and Brenda leave though. That whole love triangle with Dylan still has me riveted.

Did like the whole reference to Dirty Dancing though. That was cute. :P

 | That made me feel old. Has anyone tried the reference on a teenager for fun yet? I don't really know any local.

I'm kind of behind; I TIVO'd the first episode and just now got around to watching it. I WANT THOSE TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE BACK!!!
I found myself being distracted by the huge mole under the latter-day Brenda's eyebrow. I'm not kidding; everytime the camera was on her I lost track of the dialogue and stared at the mole.

I'm weird like that, though. The same thing would happen when I tried to watch the younger daughter on "Beautiful People" a couple of years ago.

I'm really enjoying this show (am I the only one?). I just really don't like Annie a lot though, she's my least favorite person. I wish they would've given her and Dixon a more difficult time adjusting to Beverly Hills- instead she's immediately dressing like she's from there, going to Homecoming with the most popular guy in school, etc.
