Today after I got off work, I stopped by the record store before I came home. I went in and asked the clerk if the new DMB album was coming out tommrrow. He said yeah. So I asked if they were having a midnight sale like they did when the Everyday album came out. He said no

So then he turn around and shows me the album and I'm all can I buy it today. He was all I'm not suppose to and then proceeded to ring the cd up. So I'm all, if it's going to get you in trouble, I can wait 24 hours. He was like no that will be $20 and some change. It's 18.99 plus tax. So I got to take Dave home a day early

I have the new Dave cd.

I'm broke too. Don't get paid till friday and rent is due in 2 weeks,but it's Dave. He was just begging for me to take him home with me today. So I couldn't disappoint our husband now could I

Glad you're keeping our man happy.

He'll have to wait a week for my adoration! But, rumor has it I may be getting tapes of the two Vegas shows this weekend from my brother's friend who was a production assistant at the shows. I hope I hope I hope so!!!!!

HA....I got the new one..because my friend works at Atomic and he rawks!!!! LOL.....only I don't really feel special because in less than 5 hours many stores in many towns will be having their famous midnight sales!!!!

Just joking!!! I'm so jealous that y'all got copies of the cd early. Better yet...why didn't y'all get me one too. I'm with Amy on this one though...Allison has no money so Dave will have to wait.

Amy and Allison,

You guys need to hurry up and get some money. The new live album is sooooo Amazing. Crash in to Me and Stay aren't that great,but All Along the Watchtower,and the Last Stop are wonderful.

I say that this album ranks right up there with Live at Red Rocks

Wow! Thanks for the review!! I can't wait to get it. Maybe this weekend, looks like $$ may not be as dire as I thought yesterday. LOL

Been listening to Floodzone 7/8/92 and Lillywhites all day. GAWD I LOVE GRACE IS GONE!

And spent WAY too much time on the Warehouse and nancies.org message boards reading about how great Live in Chicago is!

Maybe I can write a check... LOL

I know I've fallen off the face of the planet but with ya'll chatt'n it up about dave, I MUST chime in.

I'm with Amy. I have so much live stuff (thanks in part to amy's suggestions) that I need live stuff from beyond btcs. But i'll take what I can get.

I'm not sure when the disc is coming out in Canada, but I'll pick up whatever day it is, FORSUURE!!!

Crash in to me is one of my faves, so i'm disappointed to hear it's not that great on teh cd. Oh well, it's dave. I'll take him, bad recordings and all

. Oh well, at least I have another disc to listen to!

I would still be lovin' the lilywhites if my brother hadn't swiped the cd two days after it got here. I still can't find it.

I think I might have to go home and beat him up this weekend for it. I awnt my cd back. LOL.

Decent at best.

I'm a huge dave fan as well, I mean, I pretty much know all of his songs by heart, and one thing that disappointed me on this one is that #40 is about 8 seconds long. It's probably my favorite song of his, and he just added nothing to the songs live. He did every song exactly like the cd versions, adding zero creative touch to them. To be blunt, they were boring. W/ Tim Reynolds he at least showed personality and I listen to it say, Damn I wish I was at that show. I listen to live in chi-town and I say, well, that was a decent show...so it's not bad, just kind of carbon-copy boring. If you actually like live stuff, or if you have the studio albums with these songs on it, I wouldn't recommend this one..It'll likely bore you too.

Hmmm. See SigmaChiCard--that's what my brother is saying. And again, I have to point out-- WHY IS IT ANOTHER BTCS SET? Why not summer 2000 tour when they were playing tons of old stuff and the Lillywhites?

I encourage all you daveheads to head over to the nancies.org message boards. In two days I've got avid tape traders sending me cd's of 3 shows from this summer's tour (both vegas shows and the 6/11/giants stadium).

My handle over there is LoveDMB412. I know, I know, gee how original. LOL

I, being far more original, and relatively bored with coming up with new usernames, and not exactly in fear of being messed with because of it, am CoryGreenwell on Nancies.org and you're the lone gal on my PM thinga-ma-jiga. Which could be found via my email anyway, so I'm not concerned.Do you have tapes you trade? See, I'd like to get tapes so that I could trade, so how'd you start a collection? Perhaps I could pay you a few bucks, just to start a collection going...feasible, yes? Hmm, we'll see........

Hey Cory-- No $$ necessary, DMB's policy is B&P only--blanks and postage. I don't have anything yet--but when I get them, I am happy to run copies for you!
