Miss Universe is on Friday, May 11th!

Miss Puerto Rico was one of my faves along with Singapore, Germany, Korea, and Trinidad and Tobago .

Miss Puerto Rico quickly became my favorite after Miss Singapore wasn't called to the Top Ten!! She has SO MUCH elegance, grace...WOW, when me, my bf, and his family were watching this...I think all of our mouths just dropped...she seriously could become a Supermodel, like Naomi or Elle!!

After she made the Top Ten..I called her as the winner, I just knew it with her presence/aura...I seriously still think she should become a Supermodel!!

Side Note: I forgot to tell you all, I was also rooting for Miss Nigeria! I was bummed when she didn't make the final five.

ALso...about Miss Greece needing a translator...I think she was cheating?? She looked like she could speak Eng. perfectly fine, and I think she used the translator just to stall.

Also, there are some archived chats on http://promo.yahoo.com/missuniverse/ ! For ex., Miss India 2001, Miss Canada 2001, Miss Singapore 2001 (YAY!!!), and others came to chat!

Maybe this is O/T, but since there are a lot of you out there who love pageants and weddings...I thought I'd share this info.

My BF and I received tickets to go to the Miss Hawaii Pageant last night. Miss America Angela Perez Baraquio was there to help with festivities. Her boyfriend is part of a local singing group, and mid-performance he surprised her with a song that asked her to marry him. She said yes.
