Oh my god Allison-----I know what feeling that must be like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your fans were soooooo very awesome...wasn't that an awesome win too??!! Your voices/feet rocked the stadium!!! I love fans who are as passionate as that!!!! And it was awesome to see the player's parents (the player who got in the game-winning run!!) soooooo exhiliarated!!!!
Ohmygoodness, and that thing about your player stepping up, with 2 outs and 2 strieks against him...never hitting a HR in that season....adn hitting a HR??!!!! WOW, that is just sooo awesome! I totally know what you mean!!!!!!!!
Last year, in the playoffs, my SF GIants (pro) were playing the Mets. I think we were down 2 games to 1 (?) and it was the 9th inning (the team had looked bad the whole game)....we were down 4-1 (!) and my FAVORITE player, J.T. Snow (he is such a hottie, bTW! ), comes up, hits a 3-run homer to TIE the game, when every fan in the park had been sooo down before (the giants were looking relaly really bad that day)...and that shot was electrifying!! Everybody was jumping up and down..the stadium was shaking I heard...it was just the most awesome sight you can see! At home, I was watching TV, feeling really down b/c I had a horrible week and b/c the Giants were doing so badly (I even shed a few tears b/c I was really sad that day)...and then I prayed to God that J.T. Snow would deliver and make me happy!!! and can you believe it, my dreams came true that night!!!!!! I was SOOO exuberant...I feel so sorry for my neighbors , I was jumping up and down, screamign my lungs out, causing such a commotion, etc..! For a moment, everything was perfect! The fans in the stadium were all hugging each other and stuff, LOL. Unfortunately, we ended up losing that game, heartbreakingly so, in the 10th or something, and also ended up losing the series...but that moment is ALWAYS replyaed over and over again for us Giants fans, and also...it's in the Pac Bell Park Commercial (where it promotes the Giants), and watching it each time gives me the chills!!!!
So I definitely know what you're talking about ...Barry Bonds's 500th HR this season gave me the same kind of chills...he's also so amazing...ah, sorry to go on and on about this!!!! I LOVE BASEBALL!!! haha, I bet you guys can tell already, though
P.S. Allison, I emailed you back!

Hey Newbie--
Our fans are the best. NO LIE!!! It's awe inspiring to go to an LSU athletic event and see how the fans react. The fans are even more crazy during football season. Tailgating is LEGENDARY at LSU. Anyways...the Warren Morris moment from the 1996 championship was truly the coolest LSU sports moment. He was sidelined that season with a hand injury and then went on to win the game against Miami. It was so cool to see that happen for him. He's from my mom's hometown too!!! And the guy who hit in the game winning run last year was from Cali too!!! He was my hottie last year!!! And yes I have met some of the players. I sat next to one of the relieving pitchers this past fall in a class and my family knows the captain from last year's team. OH and my boyfriend from kindegarten...hehehehe (long story)...was on the team last year.

Predictions, anyone?
Well, I think CSF will probably beat Tulane today and that SC will probably beat Tennessee. But, then those two will have to go back and play teams that they have already lost to! CSF would play Stanford and SC would play Miami.
Here's my question. Let's say SC does beat Tenn and has to play Miami again and wins. But, do they then have to play Miami a third time, because Miami can't be elminated from just one loss to SC, they have to lose 2 times! Yikes! That's a tall order, it seems like to me.
So, my guess is that Miami and Stanford will be in the championship game. That's sad for me, cuz my fave team would be eliminated. BUT, I would definitely go for Stanford in that case. So...my honest prediction, based on that ultra-pro analysis AND Stanford's great pitching, is that Stanford will take it home!

Heheee you guys are so funny!! Allison, is there a picture of your kindergarten bf??!! Which pitcher did you sit next to?! I think some of their pitchers are so cute! I was just looking at the LSU site...and I really think #12 (Billy McBride), #37 (Ryan Richard), #39 (John Zamora...hey he's from SJ, CA!@! That's 40 minutes away from my house!! ) and #6 (Matt Heath..hehe, I like his facial hair) are cute!! I didn't finish looking at all of them (there are SO many guys on the roster!!) b/c I am tired, but I will soon!
SuperXO, that's terrible that SC Would have to play Miami AGAIN if they were to win. BOO MIAMI!! hehe. I really want Stanford to play 'SC...that would be great!!!! Anyway, I don't know who to predict, since I don't really know much of anything about the other teams, but for the sake of predicting, it will be Stanford and 'SC . I don't know who the winner would be!
Amy, no problem, take your time!!!

HEY COOL! Now I want to find a baseball guy .
FYI: They are from www.dollzmania.com ! All you have to do is, once you find a doll you like on the website, right-click (using your mouse), and then choose the "save as" option. Once you have found your file from your comp again, click on the file. A box will pop up and inside will be your doll. COPY the file (it will be in .gif form most probably). THEN, type www.dollzmania.com (erase the remaining link) into the address box, and then add the .gif part by PASTING.
Sorry it sounds so confusing!! It's not, really, just took me a couple of tries to figure it out . I had to play around a little bit. If you have any probs/Q's, go ahead and ask me!!
BTW I'm very sorry that I verved off topic! I found a Yankee fan icon but I couldn't find any other baseball icons .

Yeah, Hootie, I THINK I saw that...was that the one where the guy missed it, and then thought it went over, or just couldn't find it or something? I saw a brief snippet of it on a replay. I bet the whole crowd must have been yelling at him "Behind you!!!"
Poor guy.
FYI, CSF is now ahead 6-0 and it's the top of the 6th.

I'm not following the CWS, so I only have 2 things to say:
1.) Tulane Sucks
2.) Geaux Tigers! We'll be back next year, and we're gonna trample Tulane's wussy overpriced private school butts in Football this season!!!!!

Cool news! CSF beat Tulane 11-2!!! Tulane is eliminated.
