Zchi4Life...when you mentioned school houserocks...i had to go back and listen to the CD's....i have the set....
Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up words and phrases and clauses.
Conjunction Junction, how's that function?
I got three favorite cars
That get most of my job done.
Conjunction Junction, what's their function?
I got "and", "but", and "or",
They'll get you pretty far.
"And":
That's an additive, like "this and that".
"But":
That's sort of the opposite,
"Not this *but* that".
And then there's "or":
O-R, when you have a choice like
"This or that".
"And", "but", and "or",
Get you pretty far.
Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up two boxcars and making 'em run right.
Milk and honey, bread and butter, peas and rice.
Hey that's nice!
Dirty but happy, digging and scratching,
Losing your shoe and a button or two.
He's poor but honest, sad but true,
Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

LOL....I haven't heard anyone refer to anything as "the junk" in a LONG time either. There's a SHR website also. When I get home, I'll post the address.

Favs:
Scooby Doo (hated scrappy and the ones w/o fred and velma) by the way- why was fred and daphne always pairing up? hmmm...
different world(I wished my college would have been more like that)
saved by the bell (hated the college years) I must admit slater was the cutie, but zack was a tramp. he dated every main female character on the show.
different strokes, amen, golden girls, she-ra, fat albert, Mr.T cartoons (and the cereal), charlie's angels, wonder woman, superfriends (wonder twin powers activate!),
kids, inc., dallas, knots landing, dynasty, jeffersons, good times, alice (flo with her "kiss my grits"), thundarr the barbarian.
I'll have to look at my tv guide to find more. Kids today don't know what they've missed.

c&c1913, did you say She-Ra, 'cuz I have always personally identified with her. It's like I was She-Ra, Princess of Power. *sigh* Those were the days . . .
Of course, I did have to go to bed at 9pm, so I guess those days weren't all that great . . .

I had the she-ra coloring book, cut-outs (the paper ones where you can change their clothes) **Does anyone rememeber those types of "paper" dolls?**
I can't tell you how many times I watched the video where she and he-man find out they were sister and brother!

Wooo, just had a Good Times rush. Entertainment TV (cable) just had a special on the cast of Good Times. It's amazing how much Michael and JJ have changed. Thelma basically looks the same, though.

ZChi4Life, yes I remember watching Today's Special when I was in grade school. Muffy the Mouse was the cutest.
Here are some of my favorites:
Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Facts of Life, Family Ties, Wonder Years, Diffrent Strokes (don't forget to catch the 80s special on Nick at Nite tonight!), ALF, Early Edition (what a wonderful show, dunno why the cancelled it), Knots Landing, Falcon Crest, Dallas, Dynasty, 90210!, The Cosby Show, A Different World (I so wanted to be like Whitley), Wonder Woman, Quantum Leap (Thank God for the Sci Fi Channel), You Can't Do that on Television, Mr. Wizards World, Fraggle Rock, MMC, Kids Inc., Pinwheel, and...FAME.
I watched loads of TV as a child, can you tell?

Fraggle Rock, i loved those little green things that built stuff, and then the giants would eat what they built. Um...She-Ra was okay, but He-Man was my ultimate favorite. Skeletor was awesome. I used to have the Castle Greyskull play set. I HAVE THE POWER!!!!! LOL. Other cartoons I liked where superfriends, alvin and the chipmunks(ALVVIINNNNNNN!!!!!). Also,I liked 90210, and saved by the bell. I had a crush on Kelly hehe.
