Theta, have you talked to her lately? Tell her I send my good wishes to her, I've missed her emails lately! You said that she's been going through a lot of stress--emotional and school-wise...is she alright??!! Ahh, I miss her dearly! Tell her to keep on smiling, she sure brightens my day!

Well...she is not doing very well...she is very stressed about school and some other stuff...lotsa stuff is bugging her right now--it seems like a tornado or something went down on her . But she's a very strong girl, I'm sure that she will get through all of this that she is fighting...

Ahh, sometimes I wonder...why do we put up with guys anyway??!!

Yeah, I'm gonna call her tonight, when she gets home...I will send all your well-wishes to her and see if she's doing better today. Thanks guys--I know she appreciates all of this greatly.

HOW AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry Newbie that you are going through all of this. You are such a wonderful person, always cheering me up, always being there for me...I wonder, is it possible to have an Internet Best-Friend? Cuz if there is one, you would definitely be my 'Net Best Friend. I cannot say enough about you, your e-mails just bring a big fat GRIN from ear to ear on my face. I've had so much fun getting to know you...your e-mails can be just plain funny, cute, sweet, intelligent, thought-provoking, and just plain WONDERFUL!! I always look forward to checking my mail, simply because I can't wait to hear from you again. It's simply wonderful to have a Internet Buddy who I can count on for school/guys/parents/friends advice, to even stuff like debate over moral issues and whatnot.

What I'm trying to say is...I miss you SO MUCH-you don't even know how much! You are simply one of the most wonderful people whom I have met--online or offline. And you know that you WILL pull through all of this. You are very strong--I can sense it even through E-mail Land (hehe). You can do it! And if this is about Shawn and Brian--I"m really sorry that you are going through that, too. Guys are so darn sucky sometimes! Newbie darlin', I've missed you so these past few weeks! Logging on to my mail just isn't the same without seeing your name next to a new email! Your mails always leave me smilin happily, glad that I met you by chance at GC long time ago...since I rarely post here! You have proved me wrong w/the misconceptions that I had about various high school students, and some political views...

You have enlightened me, brightened my day, made me laugh...and even those beauty tips that we share, you have to agree, are priceless! Now, you BETTER come back to GC and the Internet soon, my dear! Cuz I sure miss you!

You know the saying..."When the going gets tough..." Well add it to this: "When the going gets tough, hold on to your friends." Hello all,

I called Newbie last night...and we talked for quite long! Anyway...she is doing better but not quite, maybe at 80%... she has had to deal with quite a lot of things in the past few weeks! She thanks you guys who posted in this thread...she really IS truly GRATEFUL to you all for brightening her mood!

In fact, as I was on the phone with her, I logged on to GC and read to her the posts in this thread...she actually started a little crying actually! And she usually is not as emotional! It truly meant a great deal to her, at a time like this. So on her behalf, I thank you all for responding. She is truly touched by all of this!

CAITLIN: I'm SO HAPPY to finally hear some good news about Newbie! What a dear! I'm so happy to know that posting in this thread has made such a big difference. I'm a firm believer that you should always respond to a person who is down, depressed, etc. It's AMAZING how LITTLE you can do to cheer them up! I was just stating the facts...and I'm so glad that you read it to Newbie over the phone--thank you! If you call her again, before she logs on to GC--please tell her that she will alwyas be my Internet Best Friend, b/c she truly is! and I really hope she comes back soon...gee I'm so happy that I would love to throw a Virtual Party for her when she gets back, LOL!!!!!

All I said about Newbie is true!! And for those who are reading this...if you don't know Newbie, it's such a shame! She is funny, smart, extremely sweet and genuine, and just has a sparkling personatliy about her...she's been there for me when I was in the dumps, too!! Newbie just e-m'd me a few minutes ago to say hello! I told her that we're all thinking about her and miss her terribly on GC. She'll be back as soon as life calms down a bit. Until then, we'll just have to press on without her. (Might be tough -- she's definitely a ray of sunshine around here!)

I'm so happy to know that newbie is doing better! She is definitely GC's little ray of sunshine...and as I said before, I'm so happy to have had the lucky chance to e-mail with her! I'm not around GC much...but it's just by chance that we saw that we shared some similar interests and started e-mailing!

Theta-cutie, just would like to say...you are so lucky to have such a genuine, smart, beautiful, sweet, funny girl as your best friend! And tell Newbie that I'm dancing to Shaggy right now, LOL, b/c I'm so happy that she is doing better!!! *wink* She'll know what I mean by that! A huge Thank You to everyone who posted here, it truly means a big deal to me!!!!!!

Yes, I am finally back!!! Today I can just chill a bit b/c tomorrow we have a School Fair/Carnival, so no hmwk tonight!!! Yeah! So this afternoon I can chill on GC and get back in sync with the Internet world...Anyway, yes, I have gone through a tough time lately, but I am slowly but surely getting better . I thank you all for your e-mails of support, encouragement, and love--you guys truly are the best!!!!!! I just have been going through a lot lately with regards to family loss/problems, school problems, relationship probs...you get the drift...

So anyway, THANKS again to all who have posted here/e-mailed me regarding my absence. It has meant so much to me...Caitlin (Theta-cutie) read to me over the phone some of these posts, and as she said...I literally started tearing up!! You have truly no idea how much it meant to me to hear all these beautiful, kind words. It really lifted my mood...and made me realize that no matter how bad things get...I will always have my friends (online or off) by my side.

One good thing happened to me, though, these past few weeks...I went to my Prom, and I had an AMAZING, beautiful time with my boyfriend! Plus, we were crowned King and Queen at the end of the night .

I can't say enough about you all....you guys are truly shining stars! I LOVE YOU ALL, you guys have made me feel so much better about life!
