Good one Cutiepie! (seeing as how this is our thread ). It would be SOOOO much cheaper for you guys. Our dollar is pathetic compared to your's. So if you're gonna do it anywhere, it should be in CANADA, in TORONTO .

The best part about Canada was when I used the ATM and got money; when my bank statement came to me a month later- the amount was less than what I took out- great feeling!!! Well if any of you visit NYC - let me know and I'll meet ya there!

Canada is definitely a bit chilly. California does sound like a pretty good idea. How about we all meet at Harrahs or Harveys in Lake Tahoe? That would be a fun night Plus, Harvey's has this killer seafood buffett along with those slot machines. Of course it is a tad bit nippy there too, but if we did it in the summer I think it would be pretty cool. You cant beat Lake Tahoe air

Okay, people, I feel the need to dispell/clarify the perception that Canada is chilly...yes it is chilly in winter, but then again so is most of north USA.....
Toronto's climate is pretty much the same as Buffalo.
Vancouver's climate is pretty much the same as Seattle.
Vancouver in summer.... (July and August)...you will never see a prettier city!

And Buffalo and Seattle are two US places I would never live because of the weather!!
But then again look at where I've spent my life: Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles. Def. a warm weather girl!! ha ha

Honestly if you want to have a good time no, there's no better place than Ottawa. We have an exceptional night time, tons of ambassadors to hang out with, the Casino de Hull, ect., ect. Not to mention Ottawa in the summer is absolutely beautiful. Plus the english/french mix is very sauve (sp?)
We're only about 4 hours from Syracuse.
Sorry T.O., but this is the place to be.

KABillyMac, I dont think we would know what to do that far north in Canada. We would probably stick out a bit. I wouldnt look unusual in my Red Wings and Khakis up there, would I? (For you non southerners, I am not refering to a hockey team when I say RedWings. Its a type of boot.)
I am up for partying WHEREVER! I am telling yall, greekchat.com formal! Would so Rock. The Senior Members could have a new member workshops for the Junior members, led by gphi2k, and Artmis. it would be great. there could be the 1000 post club, like for alumni.
Of course, you know who would probably show up, threatning all of us with lawsuits and injunctions and stuff. We'd have to get security involved, Mr. H would have to have a bodyguard.
Billy Optimist would be the MC for some reason. I could see kevin DJing, 12Dn94dst, AKA2d91 leading the rest of us in the electric slide, cutiepie2000 would be in charge of Decorations, along with OTW and localsororities. Penguintrax, carnation, AXo alum, ISU_XO and TomEarp would be the hosts. Mikki would get cutest couple with the fiance, 'cause they so in love....
And from the posts I have read, me along with dc1, bucutie, damasa, LSUTigergirl, amycat, KsigRC, lil_g, and QT-Pie would all be at the bar having a grand old time , competing for most embarising greekchat.com formal story.
lifesaver
PS We'd have to have a moment of silence for all our lost greekchaters.com who have gone on to join the omega club, Heather, UCLA Theta Chi, SigEpYoda, etienneSAI, honeybee, and the others. <sniff>

As much as i'm down with Las Vegas or California, I don't think you yanks really know how bad our dollar is.
When I was at daytona for spring break everything I spent money on (food, booze) cost an additional 50%.
What I can't understand is how there's no price difference, for example at fast-food chains. Let's say A BK meal in Canada would cost $5 can., but if I bought that same meal in the states it would cost $5 american
That's why if americans came up here, a $5 meal would only cost $3.33, see what i'm getting at.

LOL. This is the funniest thread I've ever read. Cause I'm sitting here and picturing the pure hilarity of the proposed event. LOL.
I think Canada would be the best place to go, cause financially, it'll be great for you Americans and it'll do wonders for our Candian Ego.
That aside, let's face it. Most of us are beer drinkers (some of us more than others ). And if you wanna enjoy the party, where better than where the REAL beer is? HUH???????? We'll supply the Molson, ya'll (always wanted to say that!) supply the embarrising drunken moments. So what do you say????
