You all have me cracking up. Somebody please don't bring back the hairstyles with the different color hair pieces. You know the "ponytail" that you put on rollers and ZAP in the microwave to make your style last longer!
Also, will somebody please get rid of these CLAW acrylic nails with the neon colors and the palm trees!

awww....*sniff*....now I'm getting sentimental. I LOVE "A Different World". Me and my mom had the biggest fallout about that show. The church youth group used to meet on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm. I was like 'Nooooooooo. Can't make it. Can't miss Cosby. Can't miss A Different World'. Who did I think I was talking to?
Needless to say, I missed out on at least two seasons of my favorite show. They JUST started showing the reruns here. They come on at 7 and 7:30 am. Needless to say, I cut it close every morning just to watch my show. I almost cried the other day when they showed the one where Dwayne Wayne goes to Whitley's wedding and breaks it up. Aaahhh. Damn, they need to do 'A Different World 2000'. Let's work on that

I used to have the Thriller jacket. Remember shaving stripes into your hair? I remember when I finally got to sit in the back of the school bus. I knew I had arrived Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the bomb! I remember when Nintendo came out and it was sooo much better than anything else! Oh to be a kid again! I remember complaining about having homework in elementary, you know when you had to look up vocab. words, and do some multiplications. To have homework that easy again!

Wynna, what hair pick with the attached bottle of activator?!? Girl, I wish I knew about that...when my hair dryed out in school, I just casually went by the water fountain when no one was there and sprinkled some water on my curl! O.k., why yall had to go there with "Different World"? I'm all choked up now! *sniff* I told you guys about making me cry! I absolutely adored that show! Is there any channel that plays it in re-runs? What about "Good Times"? Man, that was the Sh*t! J-J and Michael was like how old (??) sleeping together on that pull out couch! Why did all of J-J's girlfriend's names rhyme? Like Vanessa-the-undresser...Boy! Those were the days...we may have dressed, acted, looked TACKY AS HELL...but we sure did have a lot of fun!

Okay...
I KNOW everyone (at least in Cali) remembers Egyptian Lover songs...like Technicolor and all the "breathy" sounding songs (uh...aah, uh...aah...okay y'all who know get the picture).
What about the LA Dream Team...is in the house.
Finally I KNOW everyone was down with the Beastie Boys...Hold It Now/Brass Monkey, and the bombest song (I can't remember the name) was the one where the music is being played backwards. The Beastie Boys were the shiznit!!!
OKAY and why are we all reminiscing about the hip-hoppish jams...y'all know you loved some Tina Marie (she was the first Black/White woman on the scene with the nose pierce and she gets MAD love).
What about Rick James (don't act like y'all wasn't down before he and his girl burnt old girl with the crack pipe).
Mary Jane Girls was awight.
Morris Day and The Time... Eryboday Walk
Do I HAVE to say PRINCE (every Black girl wanted to be Vanity)
Remember when videos FIRST came out on BET and stuff or MTV for that matter (I'm OLD).
With videos like Carribean Queen
JErmaine Stewart (you don't have to take your clothes off...I didn't like the song, but the memories of when things were sooo much easier is still good.)
Sh*% I KNOW folks remember Herbie Han****'s video with the "legs" walking around with no body.
Remember Fat Boys are Back and you know they can never be wack.
I can't even front...Duran Duran/Spandau Ballet/Tears for Fears/Depeche Mode/
How come no one cared Boy George was a transvestite (not transexual...transvestite...cross dresser)...I LOVED Boy George.
Aaah...the good ole days.

Okay, I just noticed and I am literally in tears LMAO that when I type Herbie's name the computer automatically censors the part of his name that sounds like a slang term for male genitals. You know what I mean. Han****,Han****, Han****...see.
That is too funny.

What are you talking about "The Beastie Boys were the shiznit!!!"? They still ARE. Granted they've grown up...A LOT, They still rock! I do love Liscence to Ill the best though! "Girls" is a house favorite. It works wonders, kinda like "The Thong Song"
My folks went to Black Expo (don't ask me!) saturday and saw Earth Wind and Fire and Tina Marie. They had a good time, even though as my dad said, he felt like "a marshmellow floating in a cup of hot chocolate" He's all right, for a dad!
Speaking of Herbie Han****. I noticed that it gets bleeped when you say ****tail too! That's some funny $h1t!!

Yeah, the Beastie Boys are still cool although I am NOT familiar with much of the new stuff except "Intergalactic" if that was the name of it.
The ****tail thing is too funny for words. Hmmm...I wonder what other words get censored?
I watched Baretta and he had a ****atoo. Little birds that look sorta like ****atoo's are ****atiels
Okay, I'm going overboard now.
PEACE

How ya'll go talk about the beastie boys and not mention "you gotta fight for your right to party"
And while we are talking about songs and videos remeber when MTV actually played videos..lol
Why ya'll got make me pull out another one of my list now here goes...
Ways To Tell If You're Stuck in the 1980's
1. Your fondest childhood memory is when Skippy got his head stuck in the banister
2. You relax by putting on your legwarmers and dancing to the Footloose soundtrack
3. You think the two Coreys are "totally awesome"
5. Punky Brewster is your hero
7. You still resent your parents for not installing a dumbwaiter in your house like Webster's
8. The only video games you play are Frogger and Pac Man
9. You're building your own Clockwork Smurf
10. Your summer attire is Jellies and Jams
11. A-Ha's Take on Me is still your favorite video
12. You consider yourself truly, truly, truly outrageous, much like Jem and the Holograms
13. You wonder why more people don't wear high heels, tight jeans, and lacy ankle socks
15. Every time you go to the beach you look for Snorks
16. You're still upset Madonna and Sean broke up
17 You know who Stinky Sullivan is
19. You want to be Molly Ringwald when you grow up
22. You think there should be a Kids Incorporated original cast reunion
23. You think of Janet Jackson as "that girl who used to date Willis"
24. You can sing the theme song to Small Wonder
25. Every time you see a fountain you want to dance around it and yell "Fame!"
26. You still have a shoebox full of Garbage Pail Kid cards
27. You write your congressman asking him to introduce a bill to make Born in the USA the national anthem
28. You still use your Snoopy Sno-Cone machine
29. You know it's not "comma, comma, comma" it's karma
32. You still practice your Care Bear Stare
34. You can name all of the Wuzzles
37. In your spare time you are writing The Breakfast Club 2
67. You can name all of the Thundercats
73. You organize weekend tournaments of tv tag
76. When you're stuck in traffic you tell your car to “engage Turbo Boost” and are surprised when it doesn't talk back
77. You remeber when Venessa sang "locaomation" in karaokee
82 You still use your hair crimper before going out on a hot date
85. You have We Are the World on 45
That was rather long, sorry guys
but I do have another one somewhere I if can find it....it's a little better

She's fantastic
Made of plastic
Microchips here and there
She's a smaaaaall wonder
And she'll make your heart beat ????
What the hell are the rest of the words? Hmm. It's too late to be callin people up like "Ay, you remember the words to that show with the robot girl? Li'l white girl. Don't act like you don't know the song...."
Okay. Blu.... lemme borrow those Different World tapes.
Damn, all the Wayans were on there the first season. Y'all peep that?
