Saying someone shouldn't go through A.I. is not the same thing as harasment at all.

John and I have had conversations about the accusations. Also, when someone tells you they are reporting you, you tend to believe them when any post in question is deleted.
I understand there's a fine line between snark and harassment. However, I don't believe that the majority of my posts have crossed that line. They have never been deleted like this until a certain poster began to complain. Now, it seems that a lot of what I post is deleted whether it is harassing or not.

After reading all this, right before bed, had a thought:
What is the difference between "snark" (?), harassment, diatribe, harangue, and jeremiad?
And are any of them really required or needed in any type of group?

Snark is pointed sarcasm. It's useful for pointing out inconsistancies and silliness. It is not harassment. And you can't remove Snark from a message board just because you don't like it. It's not harassment. It is part of what make conversations with different people interesting. If we were all happy and gay and blowing sunshine all the time, GC would suck.

Because everyone knows that us Yankees (even those who have moved south) couldn't be civil for that many posts in a row, bless our little hearts...

Yeah, what she said.
Hell, us Midwesterners ( who are supposed to be friendly) aren't even that friendly.

So if I understand what is now posted above this, we need ( and all message boards, posting groups et al)
cutting language: remarks that mean the opposite of what they seem to say and are intended to mock or deride
A/K/A: irony, mockery, cynicism, derision, acerbity, scorn, disdain
And the rest of my comments any POV's, thoughts, beliefs et al....

Yes. However, you missed one important one: Sarcasm

Jon, unless you're Amish, most modern interaction involves PLENTY of sarcasm, including the occasional bit of cutting language. There's no reason to ban it from a message board.

Can someone translate this for me? Your posts lack cohesion and coherence - and that's without any sarcasm.
Also, cut the BS and make your freaking point already, so I can explain why you're wrong.

Although that might explain a lot.

I believe his point goes something like this: Why can't we all just get along, hold hands, and sing KumByYa.
Or in other words: Let's all blow sunshine up eachother's asses.
