tag-a-longs are my favorite. i was a GS back in the day (Brownie and Junior), and i am *praying about* working with the troop at my church. I loved being a GS and this past weekend i even said the Promise to the little ones selling the cookies!
oh, i am going to HAVE to find the Edy's GS cookie ice cream.

Milk and Girl Scout Cooookies
I was in Girl Scouts as a Brownie, Junior, and Cadet (for 1/2 year...a sis' was getting too old for the good troop). My favorite Girl Scout cookies are: Do-si-dos and the more recent and vanished Strawberries n' Cream.

Okay, up until last year I would have said my favorite cookie was the Shortbreat/Trefoil depending on what baker your district uses (same cookie, diff name). But now, I love the Animal ones...they are shortbreak cookies dipped in fudge...OHMYGAWD...they are sinful!!!!
And by the way, depending on the district Peanut Butter Patties may in fact be the name of the cookie. Again, it goes to diff bakers..but peanut butter patties and TagALongs are the same cookies.
Can you tell that when I was a girl scoout my district changed bakers so I has to go through this explanation many times as I sold cookies? Anyway, I too remember all the girl scout camp songs. My favorites are "Barges" (its so peaceful) and "Baby shark"..pure fun!

Girl Scouts
OK.. ya'll, I'm really excited because I'm going to have a Brownie Troop this year! It's been many a year since I was a GS but many things are still dear to me. I'd love any suggestions that you all may have!!

Keep your head up!
I have been a troop/group leader for a few years.I have daisies,brownies, juniors, and cadettes.It is a personal joy to be apart of our future.True, Girl Scouting is a lot of work, but it is worth every hour.
Keep busy, so your girls stay interested and you do not loose them to an orginization that is doing more.
