It was my freshman year of college. I was interested in learning more about sororities, even though I never planned to rush (go figure ) I lurked until the beginning of my sophomore year, and joined GC when I joined an honor fraternity. I actually found out about Delta Gamma colonizing at Auburn on GC before I heard it anywhere else! I posted my rush thread here, and have stayed ever since!
A friend of mine who had always known of my interest in Greek life had mentioned that some groups now did alumna initation and encouraged me to look into it. That was over a year ago, and I've found some wonderful friends, soon to be sisters, and a great sorority home.

I was searching for dangles for my badge (I wanted to see if anybody had more selection than MoD). My search brought me to a thread on here, and I started reading. I've been hooked ever since!
I accidentally stumbled across GC while searching for information about a related topic. It hadn't really been my intention to be a long-term user, but some of the discussions were interesting. Also, I admit that some of the drama was entertaining because it was like reality TV with some audience participation allowed.

Was on a few msg boards at the time, mostly general interest like chickclick etc. I think I had just joined Zeta & was looking for more information about greeklife as a whole, not just my campus.
