I like those, cuz they're jeans but they are really soft like your wearing khakis. My friends make fun of me for spending $120 on a pair of jeans but ...............I roll like that.

Do Sevens, Citizens etc make any styles that have a zipper longer than my thumb?

My Sevens, the A pocket have a 4" zipper.

Joe's, AG, and my all-time favorite...PAIGE. Oh my God, I could wear those almost everyday. I have to get them hemmed because I'm 5'2, but they're wonderful. I'm plenty curvy, but those jeans seem to flatter me.

For everyday jeans I like Seven jeans
http://store.shopbop.com/category.jsp?category=15
For trendy jeans I like True Religion Jeans
www.truereligionbrandjeans.com
Both about $200+ a pop, but you can get them waayyyyyyyyyyy cheaper on Ebay. I know that is alot of money and I said that I would never buy jeans that cost more than $60, but I am shapely and I have to invest my money in good jeans otherwise I am pulling and tugging all day

Ok, so, if you were 30+ years of age, where would you find these brands for sale? I am in need of new jeans (my husband made fun of my high waisted jeans) but my shape works with them but he says they are above my belly button so no good. Trying to get the bod back from pre-baby and want to wear a two piece this summer.
Anyhoo.....where do I find cool jeans to try on assuming I DO have hips and over $100 to spend.
Thanks young people!!!
Feel free to PM me but no makin' fun!!!!

Nordstrom has a ton of jeans on their website, so I'm assuming they have a good selection in stores as well -- but I'm not sure.

Most middle to high end department stores will have them - I live in Minnesota which is not the capital of awesome, but Marshall Field's here has an awesome denim selection. I know Nordstrom had a great selection as well. I think you live on the East Coast so you shouldn't have problems. If you want to get a pair of Lucky's, which I love, they have one of the best selections at the Buckle (don't let the rest of the clothes scare you off.)

Girl, get to Bloomie's!!! They have a whole section devoted to these various jeans. You can grab a bunch of different brands and see which fit you best.

I'm glad this thread got bumped back up because I was looking at my meager jeans collection today and thinking that I needed some new ones! I'm 5'9" with thighs that are way too overmuscled from all the horse riding I do. I'm also built like a brick wall--big boobs, a big ass, and a waist that's practically non-existant! I have the worst time finding jeans that are long enough because of my height and my big ol' thighs, so, usually, my jeans are about an inch too short. (Not enough to be really bad-looking, but enough to annoy the hell out of me.) I also have a hard time finding jeans that don't make me look really dumpy because I'm reallyyyy high-waisted in addition to not really having an unidentifible waist!
So, anybody got any suggestions?

I used to think 7s ran small. In reality, the pair I've loved and worn for the past year and a half were badly mismarked. lol
My new ones are the exact same size as all my other jeans and pants and are actually slightly looser on me than the old ones. (which were THREE sizes bigger supposedly. lol)
And my new Paige jeans? OMG. I think I have died and gone to denim heaven.
And now, tho my ass will be fabulously clad in designer denim, I will only be able to eat ramen for a few weeks. Ouch Nordstroms. Ouch.

I can't live without my Sevens, Citizens, and my True Religions(altho I wear TRs only when I'm out at night). They all are made to make your butt look good - that's never a bad thing!
