I'm the vice president of Panhel at Northwestern. I was surprised and a little excited to hear about our greek system.
I take it as a huge compliment!

I think I'd want to see what Mizzou or one of the SoCal chapters is like...

Probably Cornell. Its a 136 year old chapter, so it has tons of tradition. Most of the members are varsity athletes (football/swimming,) but they're also laid back. It would also be nice to experience a chapter flush with alumni $$$.

I come from a chapter that is only three years old, the only national sorority on campus, and from a small liberal arts college. I would love to experience what "official" recruitment is like with skits, houses, ranking, COB/COR..everything that is normal to everyone on here. The following chapters stand out in my mind..

Alpha Nu- Southern Illinois University - Carbondale
Alpha Chi - Murray State University
Alpha Upsilon- James Madison University (VA)
Gamma Mu- Southeastern Louisiana University
Delta Beta- Elon University (NC)
Delta Chi- University of Virginia
Delta Psi- St. Joseph’s University (PA)

I've been lucky enough to meet sisters from all of these chapters and eventhough they are large (or what I would consider large) they have a very nice family feel to them. I hope that my undergrad chapter will be as successful and loved as these chapters are one day.

It's funny but I am going to have to agree with my sisters and go with our chapter at FIU!!! I was thinking that even before I read their responses! I almost went to FIU, which is random because I'm from Pennsylvania, but I went to Florida to tour the school...I wonder if I would have ended up a DPhiE there too!

I also think our chapter at Montclair seems really fun, I met a lot of the girls thanks to Myspace and they all seem so friendly, I bet everyone loves them on their campus

If I would have had to join another chapter of ASA...it would have been Gamma Xi at Slippery Rock because they were EXACTLY LIKE US AND WE WERE THE SHIZNIT.

I'd have to go with Delta Beta @ Elon Univ. or Delta Delta @ UNC- Chapel Hill. They are both very outstanding chapters.

Definitely the MIT chapter. Their house is incredible. Here is some of the things they've got

*our private chef who cooks 5 dinners and 3 breakfasts every week
*a TV room with a big screen television, surround sound, and stadium seating
*a game room with pool, foosball, air hockey, and ping-pong
our own computer cluster with 6 terminals
*a large, newly-remodeled party room (look here for more on our social program)
*a private, sixteen-car parking lot for brothers who wish to have cars while at MIT

Brothers can walk, cycle, drive, or ride our new 15-passenger van to campus. The house is within five minutes of basketball and tennis courts, several public parks, numerous restaurants, and a supermarket

I met a lot of girls from Sigma chapter at Illinois who I fell in love with - it seems like a very similar chapter to my own.

Talking If things were different

If I were an undergrad, I probably would have liked to gone thru the Alpha (UNC-Chapel Hill) Gamma (UNC-Greensbro) or Delta (Duke) chapters. Alpha for obvious reasons. Gamma and Delta because they look like they have a lot of fun. If I were to pledge GAP, I'd like to go thur Xi Gamma. Those girls do amazing things and are just way cool

For APhiA: Without a doubt, Alpha Chapter, Cornell University. But since I am an alumni initiate, I would say Eta Lambda Chapter in Atlanta, GA. Very similar to my own chapter in size and scope.

For Alpha Phi Omega, that's tough. We have a lot of great chapters. I would say Gamma Gamma at UC - Berkeley. I'd love to be part of a HUGE chapter like that. I know some cool chicks from a pledge class of over a hundred and they were TIGHT, in both knowledge and brotherhood.

at Howard

I would join the Alpha chapter of Zeta Phi Beta at Howard University because of the History and the HBCU experience.(I attended a non HBCU and joined a grad chapter). I do love my birth chapter, Tau Eta Zeta-Baltimore City!
