THey will go to 7 games because too much money would be lost if the series was wrapped up in 4 games.

Both teams loose tons of ticket sales revenues and concession revenues, not to mention the FREE media exposure for each city.

Seriously, how often is a playoff series EVER finished in 4 games?

The NBA (while not as bad as the NCAA) is a money making machine. Thats first in their minds.

If any of you get the chance, read Bill Simmons' daily game logs on the Finals on espn.com. They're great.

past NBA finals

Rarely does a series go to 7 games. Rarely is it only 4 games. Most often, it looks to be 5 or 6 games from the above website.

Bottom line is: At their best, both of these teams are awesome and can kick the tar out of most other teams. We've now seen two games with the Pistons at their best and two with the Spurs at their best. The ideal game is one where they're both at their best.

I think now that Ben has his Fro again, there's no stopping him! He's frorocious! FEAR THE FRO! What great defense last night.

Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetroit Baaaaaaasketball!

I appreciate the fro, but I think he looks cuter with the corn rows.

However, last night when they interviewed him at the half was really the first time I'd ever heard him speak more than a few words. Hate to say it, but he sounds kind gumpy! His voice is way too high for his look!!! But I still love him!

Go Pistons!!!

He said in an interview that he keeps the fro for home games and his wife does his braids before he goes on the road. It's his routine and he's sticking to it.

I SWEAR we saw him in a conversion van driving through the not so great area of Detroit last night.

Then again it could have been any other Detroit fan with a fro.

I like it when the games are close cuz then they're fun and not so boring to watch. But I love it when we totally kick ass.

I might have a heart attack in the next two minutes... I really might. I had to come on here because I'm getting too anxious! New DSM diagnosis: basketball finals anxiety disorder.

I hope to post again in a few minutes, to let ya'll know I survived!

Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetroit Basketball!!!!!!!

It was awfully arrogant for San Antonio to plan their victory parade for Thursday.

Let's go Bad Boys, one more to go! You boys can do whatever you set your hearts and minds to do!

Dee

Game 7 really might kill me.

I really really hate San Antonio news coverage....it consists of a reporter downtown interviewing people intoxicated 4x the legal limit and holding a beer in their hand...........
