Yeah I saw him on Fox News and I say let the fool have her! How could he want her back after the WHOLE NATION thought that he did it? He had to take a lie detector test and get a lawyer cause everyone was looking at him sideways(me included!). I mean dang she doesn't want to marry you and she had this planned out a week ago, what more do you need to hear?

Exactly!!! I mean how many ways are there to say a SHE DON'T WANT YOU MAN move on!!!

But seriously, I think she should pay for the damage she caused. And be responsible for her actions instead of letting other family members try to sum up what's wrong with her.

I also saw ole boy with her pastor and another man on Hannity & Colmes (sp?). The whole time I kept thinking of the man on Oprah last week who wrote the book He's just not that in to you. Chick was giving off signs left and right that she just wasn't into him. One of the things she left beind was her engagement ring! Dude is in denial. He should have watched Oprah or at least someone should send him the book.

Screw sending him the book, he needs the author to come and tell him face to face. Now she's back trying to get in good again by putting the engagement ring back on. If I was the jilted guy, I would have had my refund from the jewelers by now.

One funny thing that happened on a local radio show is that some crazy chick (maybe crazier than the runaway bride) suggested holding a fundraiser if the bride is forced to pay for the man hours. Of course no one agreed with this nutcase. Can you imagine a whole city telling you that you are out of your crackpot mind? But the whole nation knows the bride is a few cards short of a deck.

I'll be majorly pi$$ed if she gets off without having to repay the city of Duluth. When I first learned she was missing, I automatically had sympathy for her and disdain for the fiance because the Laci Peterson murder is still fresh on the nation's memory. For her to show up on TV with her bald head covered by a towel was just terrible. (Fool, we know who you is!) All of these other people out here missing for weeks and months without a word from the media, and this scary punk a$$ heffa (and the family's $100K reward for her return) gets national news coverage.

9dstpm: Some folks will never learn that it's about the marriage, the vows, the commitment, etc. We just have to have the ceremony that will be the talk of the town. Now you dummies get to be the talk of the nation because your daughter, fiance, wonderful friend couldn't talk to any of you about how shaky she was feeling about the marriange/ceremony.

And that's one funny looking chick. I feel sorry for the people of Duluth that drove by the huge billboard with her face blown up on it. eek:

He should make her go through with it and not show up to the altar. That way her parents can be out all that money also . . .

But seriously, she isn't directly responsible for the manhunt. Although she did make a false statement later, probably out of panic because she was all over national television.

The false statement should maybe earn her a fine or something. Jail seems silly.

A grand jury indicted the 32-year-old woman on one count of making a false police report, a misdemeanor, and one count of false statement, a felony, said Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter.

The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, he said. The other count carries a penalty of up to a year.

"We believe this is a reasonable next step in the case. We believe the grand jury made the right decision," Porter said.

"At some point you just can't lie to the police," he said. A bench warrant will be issued for Wilbanks' arrest within the next few days,

AT SOME POINT? What?

Shucks, down here, you're killed then they investigate later, you're lied on (by the police) sentenced...yada yada etc. etc.

I think that she was charged with making a false statement and something else, and required to pay back the $60,000 for the manhunt in Ga. I think that all of those punishments are appropriate.
