Thumbs up

What did I get for Christmas:

Spending Chritmas with My 87 year old Father.

My Brother not being there. Spending it with His Girl Friend!

But for the material items:

Dad, Portriat of a Dead President!!! To big for him to have been giving me! "A Ben Franklin", but that is my Dad!

Brother, typical Playboy Issue for one more year!

Santa was good this year!

I received:

Money from my parents

An awesome full size keyboard with karaoke, tv, and SmartCard capability from my husband (Woohoo! I can practice my piano-playing on this until I can liberate my actual piano from my parents house!)

A Sears gift certificate from my Grandmother (which will go towards tools and practical items we need for our house)

A red cashmere turtleneck and a Lenox collectible Christmas tree ornament from my MIL and FIL

An IKEA gift certificate from my sister-in-law

A Target gift certificate, the Kate Spade Occasions book, and a serving platter from my other sister-in-law

A serving platter and assorted gourmet cooking mixes from our wedding sponsors

A subscription to InStyle magazine from Nic because NIC ROCKS!!!

This is only a partial list because I know the presents are going keep rolling in--I'm going to Arizona in two weeks and I know that the relatives who were too lazy to mail gifts are going to fork them over at that time! lol

It's a four-door, I got the sedan not the coupe. I think my parents figured it would be easier for me to get my little sister and the new baby in and out of the car with four doors!

I absolutely looooove lacoste shirts. I bought a bunch when I was down in Palm Beach this summer. I saw a lacoste jacket in nordstrom last month for $270 but it was reverisble so I tried to convince my mom it was really like paying for 2 jackets. It didn't work. But I'll probably go back to buy it now that I got a lot of Christmas money!

My husband and I gave each other a DVR and a new sound system for the holidays.

We got money from the in-laws.

From my parents:
- 2 silver butter knives in our silver pattern
- 2 cookbooks
- A jigsaw puzzle
- Renewal of my gift subscription to Cook's Illustrated
- A cute little stuffed bluebird (from the Audubon collection - you squeeze it and it chirps - the sound was recorded from an actual bluebird)

Since I wasn't with my family yesterday, I met up with my mom, sister, one of my nieces, and two nephews at a mall that's about halfway inbetween us (an hour drive for me and them). My mom gave me:
- $200 which was awesome cause she only gave $100 to everyone else.
- bought me 2 pairs of Steve Madden shoes which totaled $103.00
- some Murad face wash that I wanted to try out.

My sister said she's gonna give me something when I visit them in January. I don't know if my dad will give me any money since I haven't seen him, and don't know when I will.
