I still make ice cream in an old wooden cream freezer! Sometimes I throw some strawberries or fresh peaches in the partially frozen custard and OMG, it is the best stuff that you will ever taste!
yummmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyy....ai remember it was orange, mai grandfather made it for us...of course ai paid close attention to everything he was doing, and it tasted that much better than any store bought brand that ai had ever tried before, then and after.
