Is it only me? Or does it seem odd that there really aren't any minority (black) defendants? Michael Michelle's character does not count.

I still watch it though.

Yeah, I am conflicted by this show. There are good story lines but the racial makeup gets to me.

I haven't watched the show at all yet. For some reason it just doesn't appeal to me and I'm not a big Taye Diggs fan.

From the previews however it looks like they match him up with white women. Is this an accurate assessment? It bothered me at first and maybe that's why I haven't watched. That and that the baby was changed to a lighter baby. But the explanation for that I read somewhere was, it's a challenge to get any one infant on a consistent basis.

I figured he may have requested that he be paired romantically with white women b/c his wife is white. But either way I doubt that I will watch the show. Maybe once. There has been shows that I ended up watching that I had no intention on watching and became hooked so maybe I'll give it try.

This show has turned out to be a very good show in my opinion, and I really like it, now I don't like the fact that he isn't ever hooked up with a woman of color.

It is a very good show. I believe they are hooking him up with the actress from the first episode. She is back in town and I believe they are dating now. She is black (or at least looks it to me).

I see her as more of a Hispanic before I see Black.

I will go along with that. I kept asking myself if she was a woman of color. Tha actress chick that they having him dating....I have no idea what her background could be.

Is her name Monroe on the show. I thought she was of color as well.

The other girl who plays his love interest looks more Hispanic to me.

I could have sworn that (Monroe) was Leila Arcieri. Jamie Foxx's girlfriend. She's also in the video for Montell Williams (I can't remember the song but he's only had 2 good ones "This is how we do it" and "the other song about him going out on his girl because she's trippin") She plays the girlfriend in the video.
